First I have to start by saying that I am committing to Geno as the QB of the future. Right or wrong we will find out, but I am building "my" Jets team assuming he is going to be good.

Trade: 1st and our own 3rd in 2014 along with our 1st in 2015 to Vikings for their 1st and 2nd in 2014.

Re-sign - Cumberland, Howard, Lankster, Walls, Folk and Trufant.

Sign as free agents: OLB Jason Worilds, S Major Wright

Cut: Sanchez, Holmes, Cromartie

Talk Ed Reed into becoming DB's coach.

Figuring on a 4th, 5th and two 7th rounders for compensatory picks and a 3rd for Revis

first off nice effort. it's easier to critique these things than to make them. I like that you left realistic options for the jets in later rounds

that being said

- that trade will never ever neever happen. Idzik is not giving up a future 1 for Sammy Watkins. You might want to do that but this GM isn't.

- neglected the CB position. they can't get rid of cro and add no one

- neglected the TE position (which is probably less of a problem than people realize)

-the drafted WR will not be the 1 and 2 as rookies. It's probably gonna be something like Nelson, Kerley, Free agent, Hill, draft pick1, draft pick2. We have to be realistic most WR don't show up and become #1 or even #2 on the depth chart.

I still don't think all the holes we have can be filled in just one more off-season. I dont like any of the free agent QB's out there and why waste a roster spot on someone like "Garrard" when they can be had during season if an injury happens.

CB and TE are 2 positions I looked really hard to upgrade in draft but it just didnt seem to fall where I would have drafted one. I also didnt see many free agents that were definite upgrades that wouldnt kill our cap. Maybe a TE like Pettigrew or sign a CB like Brandon Ghee and hope he finally fulfills expectations.

As far as WR1 and 2, I didnt really post a depth chart, just a roster.

This roster will ensure us of the No.1 pick in 2015 draft.  But that wont happen because Geno SUX Smith WILL NOT BE THE STARTING QB in 2014.

That trade is absurd sorry to say.  The Vikings are drafting a QB - they will never give up that pick and Watkins will be long gone by the time we get to pick.

so  we will not have an extra #2 for Richardson will also be gone in 2nd round so forget that but I like the idea of getting a guard early  maybe in round 3.

Our OL is putrid and needs to be revamped badly.

Your DB roster is worse than it was in 2013 and it was pretty bad.   Look for major changes by Idzik which you did not address.
