He's dragging a woman around a casino hotel. On video. This, after punching her in the face.

You want to split hairs over degrees of unconsciousness you can detect by analyzing a low-fidelity security camera recording though. Got it.

His being a dirtbag piece of trash doesn't change that she's faking.  Frankly I'm surprised no one else noticed.  The slimeball drops her upper body like a sack of rocks and her head doesn't hit the floor.  Splitting hairs.  Lol.

You could have left it alone that I noticed.  You could have commented that we don't know she was claiming to be unconscious, and for all we know it was merely whoever made the video title editorializing as much.  But that would mean you wouldn't be perched quite so high on your soapbox, pretending to be the conscience for planet earth, as you seem to fancy yourself from time to time.

I could go on with a bunch psychobabble about you trying to emotionally elevate yourself by inferring someone else's truly innocent observation makes him is a lesser-wonderful human being than you think are.

In other words, get over yourself.  I didn't say she's a dumb ho bitch who prolly had it comin' to her. I made an observation about a woman in a video bracing her fall, in contrast to the video's title that makes the claim she's unconscious.  Penisbreath.

Yeah, I'm high up on my soapbox.

All I did was put your observation into the proper context.

You put it into what you believe is proper context, which is the inference that I am of lesser moral fiber than you for seeing something in a video and writing that I noticed it.

Oh, she got belted by a scumbag.  Therefore it's improper to notice anything about her that isn't about her victim-hood.  When did you become part of the PC police? Or was it always so and I just didn't notice?

Judging by the video id say its a combination of her taking a shot plus being legless drunk. I'm sure Ray was hammered himself and came to a "oh sh*t" sober moment while trying to get her out of the elevator.

I don't have the slightest clue what happened other than he supposedly belted her, which is why he got arrested instead of just accompanying her to the ER.

It's just something I noticed when this toolbox dropped her.  It's possible that he knew she wasn't unconscious and that's why he did drop her without worrying about her head getting split open.  It's also possible that he had no idea and is just that awful of a person; the beating wasn't enough and he just dropped her head, dead weight and all, onto the hard floor.  And it's also further possible he was so wasted he had no idea what he was doing.  Further still that it was a 1/100 chance that her arms fell just-so and she was 100% unconscious and just got lucky.  In other words, again, I don't have a clue what happened.

Only saying it appears she was conscious, in contrast to the title of the video.

When did you start over-reacting to stuff like some of the other dullards around here?

Next time, take the ball busting and move on. You are hurting your own brand.

(Also, I noticed in the video towards the end when Rice is talking to the security guy that she reaches out and drags her purse in towards herself. She's clearly not 100% out. Back in college I saw plenty of people, in particular one girl, who was incapable of walking, standing, conversing to the point where I took her to the hospital because I figured she'd been rufied - and I was right, she got her stomach pumped - that said, throughout the night of moving her around, getting her into the car etc, she mad movements here and there, and wasn't like a slab of dead weight, despite being completely blanked out to us around her.

So, going back to the proper context - there's no way to discern whether she's really "faking" from the video. All we really know is that he punched her in the face. My intent was not to make YOU look bad for focusing on the wrong thing, my intent was to make HIM look bad by over-shadowing your "faking it" theory with the "face punch a woman" side of it.

Not that it makes it any better, but she doesn't look unconscious.

She braces her own fall when she's first "dropped" at the start of the video (around :07) so she doesn't bang her head on the hard floor. Her head was 2 feet off the ground when he flat-out let her go. If she was unconscious she'd have been dead weight and her head would have dropped like...well, like dead weight drops. You'd likely even see her head "bounce" off the marble floor in the video and the security guy wouldn't have seemed quite as calm. He'd be tending to her newly concussed head and enormous forehead bruise.

Doesn't make Rice one iota better for popping her in the first place, but it sure looks like she's faking being unconscious.

Yeah probably so she wouldn't get beat any more great post

So in other words, you see yourself as the thought police.  You have decided what shall be focused on and discussed, and which should be ignored. Proper context, lol.

I said it appears she's not unconscious.  If she was claiming or pretending she was, then she was faking.  With your charms I'm sure you've experienced that before.

No, you can discuss what you want. Just as I did. You focused on one thing, which I thought was silly, and so I focused on another. Now you are posting about your hurt feelings. And I'm posting to let you know it'll be alright, everything's gonna be alright... rock-a-bye.

Don't worry, be happy.

Like a fly to sh*t. You're the best. :)

This integrity cat adds so much value to this forum. I mean it would lost about 3/4 of all worthless posts if it weren't for he.

Oh hey.

Awesome anecdote. You're such a better person than Sperm, and full of humility, too.

Never said that. You are being a baby.

I guess I should go back to only responding to your posts with applause and compliments.

Seriously, for someone who can't take it you sure dish it out a lot.  Now comes the obligatory, reactionary name-calling?

Your stance is you should take a shot at me for not thinking properly as you feel you do, and if I don't accept it from you then I'm being a baby. This, from the person who says others should just take the ball-busting he gives them and let it go.

Who elected you the emperor of what is to be noticed and what is not? Take care of your own issues first and then try to police those you perceive in others.

I'm here, taking it.

Can we rewind to the initial post perhaps, and perhaps take it for what it was... me busting chops about you playing Sherlock Holmes with the video? I've already stated it was never my intent for it to imply you were a certain type of person. There was nothing personal or malicious about it. I thought it was in your particular wheelhouse for goofing around here.

Like hell there wasn't.  You specifically said you were putting my observation in the proper context.  As in, on my own I fall victim to my natural tendencies of improperly observing something in contrast to yourself.

I'm really trying to show restraint when it comes to you, but that was so ridiculously over the top that I couldn't help myself.

Please, carry on.

That actually happened. Poor kid got brought back to the dorms, and they came to me because I had a car. Her "friends" dragged her out of their car, laid her on the walkway and went back to the party. I ended up at the hospital with this kid all night, her and some other girl who was in the laundry area.

No need for restraint Slats. I think this is just a miscue - so, I'm going to go on record here before it continues to blow out of proportion...

I'm sorry Sperm. I thought you'd get that I was just teasing. I didn't expect you to read into it that I was attacking your moral integrity. It was just an ill-executed wisecrack, it wasn't intended to be malicious or trolling or anything of the sort. I thought you'd tell me GFY, laugh and move on.

Proper context: she had just been punched in the face, and if there are signs she's faking, maybe there is a good reason.

It had nothing to do with your ability to observe things. It was never intended to be taken as personally as you've taken it.

You really ought to have a bit more self respect integrity28
