CorryUpcoming episode JetNation Radio: Tues. March 4, at 8pm (Link)

NFL free agency is set to begin on March 11 and the deadline has past for teams to use any tags which would prevent unrestricted players from hitting the open market.

Join hosts Dennis Agapito and Tyson Rauch along with special guest National Football Post columnist and CBSsports.com contributor Joel Corry for another episode of JetNation Radio.

Joel is a salary cap and contracts expert who’ll join Dennis and Tyson breaking down the New York Jets finances with a detailed look at the team’s current free agents, possible player releases and potential contract restructures. Joel will also provide a cost analysis of upcoming free agents, future salary cap releases the Jets could explore and possible trade scenarios for the team:

  • How much will Jets FA players like RT Austin Howard & OLB Calvin Pace cost to retain?
  • What will be the size of free agent wide receivers and tight ends contracts an area of need?
  • The potential contract of FA safeties Jairus Byrd or T. J. Ward?
  • What will be the salary demands of a top end free agent QBs like Josh McCown or Michael Vick?
  • Who might be a salary cap casualty the Jets could look at obtaining, Miles Austin or DeMarcus Ware?
  • Can the Jets still acquire Steelers OLB Jason Worilds even though he received a tag?
  • Does it make sense for the Jets to trade for certain players like Eagles WR DeSean Jackson?

Phone lines will be open after the interview (646) 716-4697 to discuss the upcoming free agent period.

I don't know how Joel Corry knows this much about the Jets.  I get that he reads up before he comes on the show, but it is incredible that he just knows every damn detail when he is a national guy,

Very impressive.  Good job on the show this week again Dennis and Tyson.
