Nicks already left without a deal to visit Indy.  Evidently not happy with the alleged $4.5 per offer.  They are supposedly havng LaFell back in.

Panthers fan friends don't seem to think they'll sign Nicks...and they're concerned they'll have to overpay LaFell just to keep him.

Ouch.

Haha.  LaFell was supposedly only going to go for a million.  The Pats and Broncos were looking at him too. The rotoworld blurb is great:

Free agent WR Brandon LaFell is visiting the Patriots Wednesday.

Tom Brady should be

bubbling over with frustration.

Depending on who you believe, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly may or may not have informed wide receiver DeSean Jackson he will not be traded this season.

Of course, for every report suggesting such, there are two suggesting that Jackson is available.

We know the San Francisco 49ers and New England Patriots made trade inquiries about Jackson, but nothing came of them. But could something come from the Carolina Panthers if they were to make such an inquiry? It’s not known yet if the Panthers will make such an attempt, but ESPN’s Ed Werder (via Evan Silva) hinted that Carolina could entertain the idea of trading for the flamboyant wideout.

Ed Werder also said on SportsCenter that the
#
Panthers
“might entertain the idea” of trying to trade for DeSean Jackson.

The Panthers have what could only be considered as a laughable stock of wide receivers, so they’re certainly in need of such. That said – Jackson’s contract is rather hefty and that’s something the Panthers would need to consider before making such a move.

As of now, it’s only speculation but the idea does make some sense, at least for Carolina.

i hear chaz sillens needs a gig. or god forbid the one and only braylon edwards

Ahh yes, the ol' Chaz Schillens effect.  Someone should take Sanjay Lal's thumb for that pick up.  And wtf is the reason for picking up Sanjay Effing Lal?  Who is this guy?  Why is he here?  He was a WR coach for the goddam Raiders for Chrissake.  Sanjay Lal.  Somebody fill me in...throw me bone.  No homo.

Windrell Hayes.

Alex van Dyke

Not even just because he was so terrible, which is bad enough.  We already had Chrebet coming off a catch-everything rookie season, just gave Graham a big contract, and then drafted Keyshawn #1 in the country a few hours earlier.  Totally the best use of the #31 overall pick or whatever he was.
