Looks like he's up to his old tricks. And we were wondering why the Jets weren't more interested in Sanders. Or why the Steelers just let him go without a word. Seems like maybe Idzik wasn't biting on this butt hole's antics. It's good to have a smart GM NORTH DALLAS A dispute with a former business partner over star Washington Redskins running back Stephen Davis has resulted in Dallas sports agent Steve Weinberg losing his certification with the NFL Players Association, meaning he can no longer represent players in contract negotiations with teams. The union that represents NFL players charged that Weinberg, who had been certified since July 1982, violated various provisions of union regulations on agents, including a conflict-of-interest provision. The NFLPA charges that, in an attempt to avoid a financial judgment to Silber, Weinberg diverted assets into an off-shore trust, thus leaving Weinberg's clients open to having some of their wages garnished. The union says some of his clients were "served with writs of garnishment" and were "subjected to unnecessary legal proceedings."

I also think I read somewhere, cannot remember where, that Sanders has metal screws in both of his feet. That is Santonio territory, if true, and it would scare the hell out of me. T0mShane
So when a team extends an offer to a player, then rips that offer off the table once a better option comes along, that's cool. But a player is vilified for doing the same?

Are you saying that teams have agreed with a player and then told him to eff off we got someone better?
T0mShane
Yeah, but Tom, they had an agreement. Are you saying that teams have agreed with a player and then told him to eff off we got someone better? Teams do it flagrantly with both oral and written agreements. Steve Smith, for instance. The Giants schedule DRC for today, then likely hand his job to Walter Thurmond in the middle of the night. It's a sketchy business.
