8-8 if Pennington is healthy, 100% and this offense gets SOMEWHAT put back on track.

Green DNA is buying. He had a lot of fun doing it for Miami!

I call the couch in GOB's house.

Max that will be one hell of a commute for the tailgate from GOB's couch in a suburb of Detroit to the game in Cleveland. Cleveland was a good trip last year-this time if I go i want to spend more time at Rock and Roll hall Of Fame

I'm well aware of the it's-too-early, no-way-to-tell, what-a-pointless-thread potential that exists here.

I'm talkin' about gut instinct. What is your first notion? C'mon, next year's record?

Just a hunch. 10-6.

6-10

With 4 automatic losses to the two best teams in the AFCE (Pats and Phins).

Jets won't sniff .500 for at least the next 5 years.

Cannot answer this until the Jets straighten out their coaching situation and draft. You can turn

around a team in a year or 2 and compete for a playoff spot. But not if that coach is named Herman Edwards, in which case we're looking at 4-5 wins tops.

Considering the Dolphins quick turnaround, The Jets could "sniff" .500 a lot sooner. Of course, Herm must go to even think about .500. The Jets need a new HC who will really clean house. With a new HC and a ton of draft picks, a lot of young players could see action, which would be a breath of fresh air compared to Herm's rule.

The Phins quick turnaround was because they have a quality HC who did a great job.

The Phins younger players were flying all over the field yesterday.

Look out if Miami ever lands a quality QB.

I agree. 9-7 with no real franchise QB. Young kids on the field.

If Herm is still here in '06 and CMart is our RB, I'll be sick. Herm's style is getting stale.

Now I'm excited to see the schedule.

If the Jets are at Cleveland I am fully prepared to regain my title as Cleveland Tailgate/Roadtrip coordinator. This time however, we're not going to sit all over the damned place. Make your plans early and get your maps ready. CLEVELAND is where it's at next year.

Someone get ahold of rorjets and let him know.
