SenorGato
Two episodes every Monday night at 10 and 10:30 PM, a very strong time slot. Just a reminder that this show gave the world this within two episodes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-55wC5dEnc He's also probably the best comic out there these days. FX has given him total control of his show the whole time, ballsy by today's standards.

slats
The surreal season opening with the garbage men was simply brilliant. I love when he does that sorta thing, but he's smart not to overdo it. Two good episodes this week, too. His kid explaining why she doesn't want to go to school had me rolling, and his conversation with his ex-wife over the matter was also pure genius. It wasn't about just fat women...the confidence with which the woman approached him was a shot at gender roles...her game, which was on point, was a shot at gender roles...I don't want to use the word genius because it's overused, but there's so much wisdom in some of these TV moments. It's modern, progressive...whatever you want to call it....It really takes a set of balls to offer that point of view in such plain terms, and that actress slaughtered the role. I just love how intense that show is too...Maybe it's because I was already a fan of the creator, but I am always at the edge of my seat. There is meaning to every word, every action. Nothing is wasted. I'm glad because TV was getting way too comfortable with just being filler nonsense and drivel.
bitonti
this season is amazing so far and can't wait for the conclusion of Elevator next week. It's not LOL gut busting funny but it's really well done and ahead of its time.
