NICE ONE, JOHNNY!!!

Jets GM John Idzik poked some fun at the Daily News’ Manish Mehta, who wagered he would hitchhike home if Gang Green did not trade any of its picks.

The Jets, who were scheduled for a league-high nine picks, used every single one, drafting Utah linebacker Trevor Reilly late Saturday to seal Mehta’s fate.

During the Jets’ press conference following their final pick, Idzik held a sign to the media that read, “#HITCHHIKE.”

He walked over to Mehta after the press conference and handed him the sign, saying, “Here’s a souvenir for you.”

Yeah, like Manish was ever gonna do anything like that.   What a story it would have been if he actually did. He would have been the talk of the nation for at least a week. Too bad he has no ability to see any possibilities for a story outside of being a complaining whore.

Loser
