Yep...which is why I tend to think Boomer in fact did hear something.

IIRC, he made the same assertion last year, and all we heard pre-draft was that Geno was aloof, which is a nice way if saying he's not self-motivated. Obviously, I'm praying that it's all BS, because we're doomed if there's any truth to it, but it'd be consistent with the rumors.

So now we have a Fantasy Radio station? Hypothetical sports scenarios are featured. How desperately pathetic is that? Yesterday, Costello suggested that Idzik be fired if the CB situation gets Rex fired. Neither will happen. Thank you, Idzik, for giving these slugs so little to talk about that they make up situations, or try to foment QB controversies. Hopefully, they will become totally irrelevant and we can just watch the games and decide for ourselves.

well to me, last year he DIDNT know playbook well based on his not being able to find secondary/terciary WRs after primary covered.

I am waiting for Sept 7 (preseason means sh*t, opposing D's throwin vanilla puddin at ya).

 

The best QBs arent the 'best athletes' but the guys who instinctively know where trhe 2nd/3rd WR is on the field when Primary is covered.

His being aloof might explain his demeanor on the sidelines, standing by himself at times and such, but wouldn't have any bearing on how self-motivated he might be. That aloofness could stem from just naturally being introverted, and he may actually relish time alone with his playbook.

Being aloof could effect his ability to be a leader (although we've heard he's made real strides there this year), but has nothing to do with how hard he works.
