Hey, does anybody know whats going on with this JI/Scout thing?

SAR is one of the most elementary trolls I've ever seen. Honestly, I don't even think he's in the D-League for JN, and the fact JI guys bite on his every post is hilarious to me.

 

JI is homerville.  It's like Joe Torre not wanting to step on chalklines because it's bad luck.

Say something negative about the Jets like "I don't like our schedule, looks like 2-5 at best to open this season" and all hell breaks loose, it's like someone killed a puppy or something.  At JI, if you don't believe we're going 12-4 every year and that Rex Ryan is God, you're a troll.

 

There's a reason Sean is bailing on that thing.  It's turned into Twitter, nothing but personal attacks.  If Scout were impressed by the post count, dig a little deeper, 50% of what people talk about on Jets Insider are STFU attacks on each other.  It's poisioned.  Bad moderators tolerating bad posters who get off on attacking other Jets fans in the name of supporting the team.

Close; I believe I chatted you up, as Mick RJF and others moved in with you and Alk. 2008? I had gone to the Raiders Jets game here in Oakland (SeaBass and Jay Feely were the stars that day - both were kicking bullets from 50+ - a bizarre but satisfying jousting)...the next day things changed. So - no fuzzy memory.

 

Was it '08? Could have sworn it was '06.

As someone who has predicted losing or .500 seasons every year for a couple of years now, and taken no abuse of any kid for it, I can say that's complete hogwash.

I've called for Rex's firing as well. Enjoyed some debate, but never engendered the loathing heaped on you.

There comes a point, SAR, where it's not the message, it's the messanger.

But you already knew that. As you said, famously, on JI.....you know you troll, and you do it for as much attention as you can get.

Given you're start here right off the bat playing the Martyr card, it's hard to take you all that seriously.

But I'll give the benefit, you want to talk "just football", I can do that.

Not too shabby, bounced around the country for a little bit, settled down in Chicago for the time being, got a dog, getting married, it would be nice if the Mets would make the playoffs for a change but other than that no complaints. You?

Everything is fantastic; my youngest parlayed his trips to Brazil (he does capoeira) into a "sustainability report"; he used that to get into UC Berkeley. So, I'm a Cal Parent (my wife is as well, but I'm still better than her...lousy chore monger). My lemon tree is doing great; it's a wonderful life for sure.
