Classy organization, unlike the dolphins. Remember this circus classic?

Dolphins Scout Says He Was Fired For Staying Home To Care For Sick Wife

So, this is not a very good look for the Miami Dolphins, an organization which has pretty much become synonymous with "bad looks" over the course of the last year or so. According to a intent-to-initiate-litigation letter obtained by Fox Sports, a former Dolphins scout plans to sue the team over his having been fired, allegedly for working from home while tending to his cystic fibrosis-stricken wife.

The scout, Nate Sullivan, claims that he had worked out an arrangement with the team's three previous general managers which allowed him to perform his duties from home and remain close to his wife. But new GM Dennis Hickey was apparently unhappy with this arrangement, and fired Sullivan because of it. There's also this:

The intent-to-initiate-litigation letter also states the Dolphins began excluding cystic fibrosis medications from their health care when revamping their insurance offerings in April. Harr told FOX Sports 1 that the cost of one prescription skyrocketed from $10 to $3,000 per pill under the new policy.

"It is our understanding that Cystic Fibrosis was the only terminal medical condition singled out," the letter states. "This drastic reduction in health care benefits jeopardized JoAnne Sullivan's ability to afford her pharmaceuticals, shifting an exorbitant financial burden on the Sullivans."

The Bengals just put a guy on their practice squad that has the highest level of motivation right now. Not only was this just a classy move on their part, but it may actually end up being the best $100,000 they spend this year on a practice squad player. Could you imagine the storyline behind something like this? Help a guy out like this and he ends up becoming a starter in the future and his little girl makes it?

As a side note, situations like this sucks if you're a person who's poor. Goes to show that when you're poor you only have access to poor sh_t. Seems like individuals are only as important as their bank statement.

Yeah, it's a great story. If you skip past the part where they drafted him in the second round and paid him a couple of million dollars before he washed out.

the fact that he washed out is what makes the story great. they apparently only signed him to the practice squad so he can pay for his little girls cancer treatments. that's what makes the story
