Barton
I'll gladly have myself banned if we draft vince young. Aside from the fact that all his bs qb draws dont work in the NFL what can he do? He's not a good passer at all.

He has a good comp% because he does a million short throws. He sucks on passes over 20 yards, he throws them too low, behind the wide reciever, or clear over their heads. You may disagree, but I think I'll side with myself on this one.

StillerPaul
I've said it plenty before and i'll say it again. Vince Young is better than Leinart. Barton, what makes you think Young can't throw downfield accurately? He's been accurate on his deeper throws ALL year. Look at the way he's surveying the field too. This guy is a cool cucumber. Barton
He just has horrible mechanics. Horrible ballhandling, a strange throwing motion and he rarely drops back and steps into his throws, he just kind of flops it to his WRs. Reminds me of Michael Vick. I don't think comparing him to Vick is fair. I will say this though. It will take him a couple of years to develop in the NFL, but his arm strength could get him by until then. His throwing motion is a bit odd looking but he's very accurate throwing side-armed and ya gotta love the way he surveys the field and doesn't let pressure bother him. He's very strong in the pocket too.

I know I'm getting bashed for slamming Young, but I just dont see him ever being a successful QB in the NFL unless he really, and I mean really, improves on his mechanics, his throwing motion and his footwork. I dont care how good of a runner he is, if he has a dookie throwing motion, all around poor mechanics and bad footwork he will never be successful. Guys like Brett Favre with their cannon arms can sometimes get away with bad footwork, but it even catches up to Favre, who has a much more traditional throwing motion and mechanics. Young is better off returning to Texas to improve on his game. I wouldnt even consider touching him in the 1st rd. Not only that, but we cant afford to give out another big contract to a Quarterback. RSJ
I have said this before Young is going to be a very good pro. He is definitly the best player in this game. If the Jets can get chad to renegotiate his deal the Jets have to take him. Then you are looking at a 2-3 year plan. Surround this kid with a good running game and defense and he will be awesome. Alk
I will give this to Young. His speed is VERY deceptive. He just looks like he's jogging down the field yet LBs seem to be losing ground with every step.
RSJ
he's bigger then tomlinson the best back in the NFL. 5'10" 221 is a ton bigger than 6'0" 200. That is 2 inches short and 21 pounds more. And that is if you belive the height and weight that USC lists Bush at and we all know how accurate the listed weight of a college player is.
