Watch the video, Sperm. Refs cannot do anything unless out CS decides to shat themselves again.

 

You said Rex, not the "CS" though. Rex didn't call time out. From out of nowhere Mornhinweg calls FOR a timeout. He didn't call timeout. Only a player on the field or the HC can actually call TO.

 

Whatever. This ending is what you want anyway and everyone here knows it.

Calling TO on D is inexcusable I don't care if we did stop them on the next play. But the last TO was called by Mornhinweg, nowhere near Ryan, and he's not allowed to do it.

 

Worst of all, it was (allegedly) because of the crowd noise and the clock counting down, not because of something he saw on the field (GB having the play call covered).

 

F*cking shame.

And what is the CS not drilled not to even try to call a timeout? Jets, despite some obvious masseuses in the secondary and at QB,  played a good road game a deserved OT at least. This is on Rex Ryan and his Cs, period.

This is nothing new to us ...the thing is after 5 years you think some of this garbage would be cleaned up by now.... We are always optimistic yet keep getting slapped in the face. You know kinda like what Dee Miliner did to all us optimistic fans today as well

We tied the game up and the refs took it away. Are you not watching?

In MLB a team can protest the game under these circumstances and they might even succeed.

The refs shouldn't have alowed the TO.

But what about the inadvertent whistle? Wouldn't that have been the same result?

That said, MM had an awful sequence at end. Whats with the 3rd and 5 run before the non TD?

Might as well charge us with a timeout if one of the trainers, or someone in the stands, calls a TO. 

 

A player or the HC can call TO. No one else.

 

And they erase a game-tying TD with 4 minutes left in the game.

Disgusting.

why are the Jets always on the bad end of these episodes you just never see anywhere else ? Its uncanny

Section 5 Timeouts 
CHARGED TEAM TIMEOUTS 
Article 1The Referee shall suspend play while the ball is dead and declare a charged team timeout upon the 
request for a timeout by the head coach or any player to any official. 
 Item 1: Three Timeouts AllowedA team is allowed three charged team timeouts during each half. 
Item 2: Length of Timeouts. Charged team timeouts shall be two minutes in length, unless the timeout is 
not used by television for a commercial break. Timeouts shall be 30 seconds in length when the 
designated number of television commercials have been exhausted in a quarter, if it is a second 
charged team timeout in the same dead-ball period, or when the Referee so indicates. 
 
so another email to the nfl complaining about their refs not knowing the rules........
