Sperm Edwards
Watch the video, Sperm. Refs cannot do anything unless out CS decides to shat themselves again. You said Rex, not the "CS" though. Rex didn't call time out. From out of nowhere Mornhinweg calls FOR a timeout. He didn't call timeout. Only a player on the field or the HC can actually call TO. Whatever. This ending is what you want anyway and everyone here knows it.
JetsFanInDenver
Morhingweg put Vick on the field in a play that turned momentum. Morhingweg put Vick on the field in a play that lost 3 yards. Morhingweg called the timeout that shouldnt have been given. I wonder who to blame for this loss. Bugg
Calling TO on D is inexcusable I don't care if we did stop them on the next play. But the last TO was called by Mornhinweg, nowhere near Ryan, and he's not allowed to do it. Worst of all, it was (allegedly) because of the crowd noise and the clock counting down, not because of something he saw on the field (GB having the play call covered). F*cking shame. And what is the CS not drilled not to even try to call a timeout? Jets, despite some obvious masseuses in the secondary and at QB, played a good road game a deserved OT at least. This is on Rex Ryan and his Cs, period.

SenorGato
Yeah but you can't let these slip away like that. Non-conference 2nd games of the season against an elite QB in his house? Way worse losses than this...past and future.

kelticwizard
Really pathetic. I don't think it can get worse, and they pull off a complete mess like this. Really, someone should be fired. This needs to be Rex's final season. What-the refs screw us out of a game so we get rid of Rex?

ThisYearsModel
So the NFL will apologize that the refs blew it by granting a time not not called by the HC on a play that the tying points were scored? They still lose, of course.
SoFlaJets
damn shame too. Why do the Jets always make stupid plays like putting Vick in to do NOTHING-the guy had zero field awareness and it looks just like the same kind of momentum killing sh!t they did with Tebow....WHY-why is it always the Jets? Smashmouth
Coaching breakdown at every ******* level. This is nothing new to us ...the thing is after 5 years you think some of this garbage would be cleaned up by now.... We are always optimistic yet keep getting slapped in the face. SMC
We tied the game up and the refs took it away. Are you not watching? In MLB a team can protest the game under these circumstances and they might even succeed. The refs shouldn't have alowed the TO. But what about the inadvertent whistle? Wouldn't that have been the same result? That said, MM had an awful sequence at end. Whats with the 3rd and 5 run before the non TD?
Bugg
Like I alluded to, at least you're happy. This is your wet dream. NOT AT ALL. This sucked. Smashmouth
Might as well charge us with a timeout if one of the trainers, or someone in the stands, calls a TO. A player or the HC can call TO. No one else. And they erase a game-tying TD with 4 minutes left in the game. Disgusting. why are the Jets always on the bad end of these episodes you just never see anywhere else ? Its uncanny
Lizard King
Marty is an absolute baffon for not knowing the situation there, but the officials had the chance there to do the right thing and they didn't. rammagen
well this is from the nfl rules Section 5 Timeouts CHARGED TEAM TIMEOUTS Article 1The Referee shall suspend play while the ball is dead and declare a charged team timeout upon the request for a timeout by the head coach or any player to any official. Item 1: Three Timeouts AllowedA team is allowed three charged team timeouts during each half. Item 2: Length of Timeouts.
