Cyberjet
The Jets defensive front is overrated. They are stout against the run and have their moments with pass rushing but they are inconsistent with regard to QB pressure. They are far from elite and need to close the bouche and play. Section 333
This is a silly statement. Whats overrated? This team has had issues getting to the QB forever. Now we have 2 special DT's who can explode off the line, pressure from the inside and tackle well. All the talk of our Line being good is based on Wilk, Sheldon, and Snacks. Copples has the chance to be a very good player. Pace had a big sack year last year because of how the big 3 up front played. But nobody ever said we have a JJ and Clowney or Freeny and Mathis like combo on the edge. This D is and will be great against the run and if we happen to force the QB to step up, back or force him from side to side then Babin, Copples or pace will get sacks. Saying the line is overrated is to general a statement. Do you watch this team? Overated based on what? the talking heads telling you what this line is supposed to be? This line over 2 games is what I expected. Tell me what this line is supposed to be. Obviously Rodgers had time to make breakfast in the pocket in the 2nd half, but overrated? Cmon! Feel free to expand on what makes the line overrated. Clearly the last drive of the 2nd half where Arod picked us apart like chicken wings was a product of the non-aggressive play calling. Not the line.
JustInFudge
Rodgers might manipulate the pocket better than any QB I've ever seen.

So what constitutes a great defensive front? A few pick sixes a game? Double digit sacks a game?
Cyberjet
What? So what constitutes a great defensive front? A few pick sixes a game? Double digit sacks a game? when som Well this is a silly answer. ( It's not - just making a point) What is wrong with peiople that they always have to start off with put downs. Amazing. The press and people on this board have heralded the front line as top 3. They were suppose to compensate for the injuries with the CBs. That's why they are overrated. Yes he is a great QB - but great lines disrupt great QBs. See Giants against Patriots in 2 superbowls. Without a blitz this line doesn't stand out with regards to pressuring the QB. Hope this isn't a silly a statement.

What was the final tally on hurries/qb hits...I saw that it was at four or five early in the second qtr and he made some good throws under duress. The line can only do so much. WRONG the secondary sucks and that's what lost the game yesterday. Idzik needs to trade for a CB.
The Crusher
Did you miss the part where Rodgers and Nelson set GB records while storming back from 21-3 to outscore us 28 to 3? Meh, an 80 touchdown strike tends to do that.
