Blackout
I was hoping he would leave because Miguel Tejada is a downgrade, but atleast we can look forward to watching Manny's decline and horrible defense 18x a year
AFJF
Okay, Manny AND A-Rod need to just STFU and play baseball. Like two friggin women trying to pick out a pair of shoes to match their shirt

PFSIKH
who knows. I want him to stay, but who really knows what will happen. I do to. Realizing the Red Sox are going to come up on the short end of the stick no matter who they get, trading Manny, Clement, Marte + Money for Tejeda and a good CF prospect from the Rays (th elast proposal I saw) is bending over and taking it dry. Is is cheaper to keep him.

Then you still have David Wells to deal with Jay Payton of all people surfacing as a possibility.
Blackout
basically it comes down to Manny still having 2-3 monster years left in him vs. gathering up and coming talent for the next 5 years that will be good, but not Manny's level I sitll say I want Manny out of the division

Websense limits my surfing, so the last proposal I saw was the Rays giving the Sox Gathright(sp?) a real speedy CF with decent hitting ability. I still do not understand the need to dump Clement. Do not go Yankee and give up to soon.
mbn007
Last proposal I saw surfing around, that did not include the Mets, also did not have Gibbons or Lugo in it though. Still think Manny stays put. BoSox need that bat in the lineup, no matter how poorly he is in the OF. I believe they want Tejada, Jay Gibbons and Lugo for that package which is not bad. Then you still have David Wells to deal with Jay Payton of all people surfacing as a possibility.
