PatsFanTX
My first thought. Titty bar. Geno would grab for them but miss. QB's with a 7.6 QB rating don't get too much titty.

Lizard King
This franchise will never find a QB. Ever. I think we should just go triple option, give up trying that can advance the ball through the air. Which is exactly what will happen... Rebuild as a power running team with a strong defense. Sounds oddly familiar. to this front office. It's like monkeys fcuking a football in Florham Park.
PatriotReign37
Probably Pure Platinum or Cheetahs. If Geno had even one testicle, he'd be down at Adelita Bar or El Dulce Gabbana in TJ -- at least there might have been a chance he'd have missed the game too. He probably ran out of cash and had to hitch hike back to the hotel. Inflation has hit the cost of lap dances.
T0mShane
It's half a football team, maybe less. They had money to spend this year. Having money isn't the problem. You'd rather go into 2015 with 20 decent, young players on the payroll that you can build around as opposed to throwing money at players you don't really want in a vain attempt to salvage a sh*tty coach's career for one more year. This is a recipe for 2019. Aka the seahawks model. Searching, drafting, cutting and turning that roster over until it works. This fan base, this city, this media, is never going to be as patient. We aren't built for that, we don't have the championships to earn the patience, we don't have legal weed like Seattle, it's going to be intolerable and I seriously doubt that Woody has the fortitude. PatriotReign37
Rex has lost the team. Your most important player doesn't show for the team meeting with the Jets backs against the wall? Maybe the Jets can beat the Pats in 2 weeks, but the defense may have quit by then watching Geno torpedo the season week after week.

Idzik's life depends in finding the QB. Imo, he's operating like he has a bead on which guy he wants that he knows is going to come available. C Mart
Geno was ******* off at a club someplace. Out to a movie? Give me a break. Hes young with millions in his pocket. Winning isn't the most important thing on his mind. Ahh. Geno just thought this was Rex's annual Dave & Buster's night before game trip. Rex is a clown. This is the environment he fosters. How Geno wasn't suspended for the game is inexcusable.

REALLY!? or, behind door number 3, is the real stinker of a possibility: HE IS JUST THAT DUMB and even worse, Rex was too stupid to realize what a golden opportunity geno handed to him. geno benched for violation of team rules, vick in. then after game "we will evaluate the qb decision this week." but nooooooo rex has to come right out and say geno is the guy. he didn't even make geno twist in the wind for an hour after getting pulled? NJ
As much as I'd like to crucify Rex for not sitting "the angry young man" - his season and obliviously his job were on the line yesterday afternoon. He knew what he could expect out of Vick with an aggregate half hour spent with the starters over the last few weeks. There's plenty of other stuff to crucify Rex for - starting with Vick spending little time with the 1's.

Absolutely...Vick out-performed Geno yesterday (not saying much) despite no reps and coming in with the score already being a blowout. Important thing for the long term is to find out just how bad Geno sucks. Give him his starts, go from there.

Cyberjet
The only vets on the roster who will be making big money are Brick, Mo (with his new deal), and Decker. Mangold is going to get cut and re-structured. Other than that, every other high-dollar contract is off the books (iirc). This is the 2015 roster: QB: Geno (Vick, Simms gone) RB: Ivory, Powell (CJ0K cut) TE: Amaro (Cumberland dumped) WR: Decker, Shaq Evans(?), Salas(?). (Kerley(?) if they re-sign him and if he doesn't just run off to Denver to replace Welker.) OL: Brick, Winters/Aboushi, Mangold, Dozier, Giacomini. (Colon dumped, Winters probably cut.) DE: Wilkerson, Richardson, Coples DT: Harrison OLB: Enkempali, Reilly (Pace gone, Coples abortion tabled, Babin gone) CB: Milliner (Wilson euthanized) FS: Allen SS: Pryor That's it. Not a bad core, cheap, mostly young. Obviously, a lot of holes, but a lot of money to fill them with young FA's (as opposed to the overpriced, exiled trash that Tannenbaum preferred). Like this list - would add Davis at LB and one more DL of your choice. I think Winters stays. Would be nice to see one more CB develop (?Adams)

Imo, he's operating like he has a bead on which guy he wants that he knows is going to come available. Have zero confidence in his judgment. He picked Smith and passed on Manziel and Garapolo. This whole franchise since Favre/Mangini acts like getting a real QB is not a priority. Really it should be The Priority until it's addressed. It's not easy, but quality QBs change teams-Brees, Manning, Cutler. ANd this franchise was not players. So we get the worst of both worlds, crappy drafts with QB busts added to passive nonpursuit of a real FA QB. Drafting safeties who can't tackle. Great! CTM
And let's not start this BS about Idzik protecting Geno here, unless you think Idzik was protecting Santonio Holmes, too. Rex is a godforsaken coward. Idzik is "protecting" Geno, if by protecting you mean forcing Rex to start him. When you move up in an organization beyond a fry cook, you'll better understand how it works and can speak to it. Until then, cram a sock in it
