Writeguy
Houston doesn't need a QB or a running back. They need OL. Picks #1-3 are likely to be Bush/Young/Leinart - in one order or another. The Jets need Young or Leinart, but are likely to be in a position, at pick #4, to get D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OL from Virginia. They should make a deal with Houston to get the top pick (maybe using some of the draft picks they are going to get from Kansas City for Herm), and grab a QB. My pick would be Young, for his durability, if nothing else, but who could argue with picking Leinart? Comments?
Ranger
I would say no, because I don't think the Jets can really afford the top pick in the draft. They are going to have trouble with the #4 pick in the draft. Besides, I think Cutler is going to make a great QB, but also D'Brick can be had among others. The Jets have so many needs, BAP at #4 seems like the best course of action.
4HCrew
First welcome to the site and since you are new I will be gentle The Jets with their cap problems as well as personnel issues cannot afford to use a top 4 pick on qb. Too much money and too many other major needs like O Line and D Tackle.
faba
The Jets have too much money locked into Chad and his contract to go with a top pick QB- Leinart I am not thrilled with anyway I want a GM that knows and has a plan to rebuild this Jet team is the number one priority for me
