SouthernJet
Since he will be going to Kansas area, its fitting that with his football IQ and location's Oz lore that his nickname should be : "The Scarecrow" "If I only had a brain"

AFJF
Theres a KC in KS and MO, Arrowhead is in KS...unless of course I was paying absolutely no attention the time I went out there since I wasn't doing the driving...the two cities are very close to one another and when you think about it...who gives a damn, lets get a coach. LionelRichie
kansas city is in missouri there is a road that runs through the city called stateline drive. kansas is on one side and missouri is on the other. the downtown area is missouri and the kansas side is pretty much suburbs. JerryK
You know, I think that even if Herm isn't that great, His first year or 2 in KC could be huge. Herm can build a defense but He's refused to build an OL and a offensive unit strong enough to benefit from the line. Now he'll inherit a world-class offense that he didn't have to think about or pay for. He'll put a decent defense in place and he'll probably take the AFC in a couple years....and he'll get the credit.

JerryK
just answer me,,,,, do u REALLY think Herm was the one responsible for the defense that was good LAST year??? I suppose I've always given Herm some credit for firing Ted and identifying Donnie..and letting Donnie do what he did in year one. If others in the FO did all that for Herm (which may be the case), then I see your point.
deadringer
just answer me,,,,, do u REALLY think Herm was the one responsible for the defense that was good LAST year??? there was no ONE person responsible, but by virtue of being the head coach he most def. gets some of the credit for the defense emerging like it did last year, just like he should take heat for the way it collapsed this year...the main point that i'm trying to make is this; you cant blame herm for every problem with this franchise without also giving him credit for the positives achieved during his tenure...herm is a middle of the pack head coach, not spectacular, but not horrible, and i personally feel he is better than whomever we replace him with, unless we pull off a miracle...i have no emotional attachment to herm, i just think its BS that he only gets credit for the negatives...give the man a little due, he has had more success than any other coach in our history, despite having a team bar-b-que...
