Instinctive players can't play instinctively until they game slows down for them mentally. It was never going to click for him as a rookie, I expect him to give us some glimpses, but next year is when he'll take the leap forward.

Just like Revis did after his rookie year.

THR...gave him 3rd round grade...it's paid site...there's more that were down on him...a snippet below:

Calvin is what I call a “guesser” safety. He comes up in run support more quickly than most, but continuously takes bad angles and misses tackles trying to make the big hit. He seems confused in zone coverage and consistently gets beat. He lets receivers behind him because he is so interested in supporting the run. He looks into the backfield way too long and gets fooled by smart quarterbacks at the college level.

"Hey, he might not be a great player despite the draft slot, but he'll be solid for us, like Eric Smith was. And you know what? That's ok."

--Jets fans

Dude, it's his 7th game as a professional.  If we drafted Eiffert last year or someone you wanted this past draft and he was faltering after 7 weeks, no way would you be talking this sh*t about them.
