SoFlaJets
The Jets are on the clock once again. They better not let us down with their plan b once again. the clock that's ticking away on Terry Bradway's tenure here--I hope...a friggin 4th rounder??? unbelieveable-we give a 1,2,3, and a 4 for Parcells and get this for Herman Edwards? Guess that says alot to all the 3 outta 5 years in the playoffs crowd

Green DNA
Oh my achin' ass, why does ever other team's front office feel that they can push the Jets around??? Fire Dumbway and Cross now, lets make this a professional, respected FOOTBALL organization.

#90
Bradway is a total idiot! The Chiefs started the Herm negotiations offering a 4th AND 5th rounder. That's just un-real! WOW, that Terry B is shreeeeewd!
spjets
as long as he's gone ...i dont give a chit.... a 4th is better than if they dragged the damn thing out and got nothing.
The Troll
The Jets win this trade. Would have liked to seen a 4th and 5th rounder, but that's the greedy bastard in me. Adios, Herm, I will enjoy watching the Chiefs crumble around you.
raffyD
as long as he's gone ...i dont give a chit.... a 4th is better than if they dragged the damn thing out and got nothing. Agree 100% SP, glad to have this over and done with. The fact that we get a draft pick at all is huge, think about how the fans of the other sh!t teams feel right now - we got rid of our 4-12 coach, like them, but we get to pick twice in the 4th round in this years draft. Could score a very solid guard with that pick, or even a very solid (albeit sleeper) RB. I do find it odd that KC was originaly offering a 4 and 5 and the deal is consumated with only a 4 but f it and let's move on.

RSJ
Getting any pick for a 4-12 coach is a gift. Herm is not in the class of the previously traded coaches. He is just a guy that some GM happened to want because of a personal relationship.

madmike1
Bradway Bent over and took it from peterson. any GM who had ANY credability would've said it's either a 2nd or forget it. then if they said no you keep him on the payroll till all the coaching jobs are filled then fire him. as long as this JOKE is running the jets they will be the laughingstock of the NFL. What title are you going to give Herm to prevent another team from coming in and signing him? I'm pretty sure the contracts spell out that it is for Herm to be the "head coach" which is the only coaching position you can trade for.

madmike1
if you think he was worth a 2nd..then you have no clue... this isn't about if he's worth a 2nd or not. it's about the jets once again having a coach who is UNDER CONTRACT breaking that contract and the jets being strongarmed by another team once again. everyone gets what they want in this situation except the jets who are left with egg on their face as usual with a joke 4th round pick and a GM, owner and entire front office who has made this team into the joke of football. PatsFanTX
tell that to lions staints and cardinals fans. go away and worry about beating the jags. That's pretty funny. Since the NFL-AFL merger, the Lions, Saints and Cardinals have played in the exact number of Super Bowl games as the Jets. Oh, and BTW, the the Lions, Saints and Cards have their own stadium to play in and have never had their HC scooped by another team. The Jets organization is a complete laughingstock, from Woody on down. .

PatsFanTX
how can anyone take a patsy fan from texas seriously? Because since I became a Pats fan, they have won 3 out of 4 Super Bowl titles. So it doesn't matter where I live.

Stonehands
I am so happy that Herm is gone!!! Maybe if we hadn't won that final game against Buffalo, KC would have ponied up a third rounder for this disaster of a coach!
Thor99
You can't have it both ways, TX. According to you Herm is a joke, yet the Jets are a joke for letting him go. You are as sad as we were when Wannstedt got fired, admit it.
faba
To be honest I just think it is gravy to get a extra draft choice for Edwards-just my opinion We were not going to win a championship with him here so now it is imperative to bring in the right person to replace him
