joewilly
exciting doesn't come to mind for me with the poor choices I see available i am not against a change but this looks like just another ny jets debacle to me. I hope to be surprised with a quick replacement decision to at least make it look like mgm't was steering the ship & wanted to use herm for trade bait before announcing a head coaching change that was in place already
spjets
singletary. or donnie i'd take dinger over henderson...we need a OFFENSIVE type of coach...

madmike1
great list madmike I would add fassel & tices name alongside hasletts in #5 though i don't view tice the way i view fassel and haslett. i think tice is a good coach and a stand up guy. i wouldn't be upset if he's the coach. Green DNA
Maybe we can offer the Titans a 4th round pick and see how they react They would laugh and ask for our 1st rounder. Bradway would then offer to throw in our 2nd rounder also.
Stonehands
i'd take dinger over henderson...we need a OFFENSIVE type of coach... We already had a coach who was offensive, that's why we got rid of him. What about Mike Sherman, his record was solid until he was hit with cap issues and injuries this year. Bill Slackman
remember, we're jets fans and we have a billionaire owner who's stingy w/ his cash...that means, we need a coach who can be had for a low number. who's that leave: steve mariucci! he's a west coast guy who can immediately play with the personnel we have AND he's getting paid a ton of money by the Lions to do nothing the next few years. Mooch is the answer.

Barton
Kirk Ferentz or Jeff Fisher. Those are my top 2. The rest are all on a lower level right now, IMO.

BwanaZulia
Just someone with a LOT of experience. Mooch would be ok, he did well in SF but could never pull the Lions out of the hole. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/MariSt0.htm I see Dinger as a one year stop gap (like Groh). If he is brilliant, he gets a long term job, if just average we find a new GM who brings in a HC. Not sure why Sherman isn't on the list. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/SherMi0.htm BZ
