PatsFanTX
Again, they really should promote Simms to the 53 man roster this week. Vick sucks and he's made of glass. It would be nice to have another option besides going back to Geno. When will the Jets wake up and draft a 6' 5", strong-armed, drop-back, QB that runs a real offense in college? Trade up for Sanchez and draft Geno in the 2nd round????? That's why the Jets are 1-7 today. Like you said, Simms is a great option for the remainder of the season.
Sperm Edwards
I agree start Vick and see how team responds but again I would be looking for another qb now off the street late cuts, try outs every day, add 2 qb to PS to evaluate. Well the PS is there for the team to actually use to practice against. It isn't a pure "stash" list. If a guy is on the street you can evaluate him without being on the PS. If he is as bad as can be then you replace him with a different one, if that's what you're looking to do with the PS. But there aren't enough reps to go around for 5 QBs for an actual evaluation mid-season. Plus as much as we're evaluating these PS players, they're supposed to be studying film of the opponents for their role playing during practices against the roster players. That's exactly what PS players are for. Can anyone name 1 PS player who was elevated to the active roster and made a significant contribution on the field? slats
going all in is a little strong I know everybody is pissed but the venom and animosity is getting borderline comical next thing you know idzik brought ebola to the NFL and is funneling unspent cap money to isis Idzik signed Vick, the first time in Rex's tenure that he has a second QB who can actually -allegedly- play, and the "organizational decision" was to hand the job to Geno. Beyond that, there were good QBs available as late as the fifth round in this year's draft, and the Jets passed on all of them. I might have a smidgen of hope left if the team were able to turn to Zach Mettenberger in the second half of the season. It would've cost them Jeremiah George, but they could've had him. j4jets
Vick isn't the answer stick with Geno Smith either he has it or he doesn't and we move on.When Vick gets the same results will it be Simms turn? Vick >>>>>>> Geno Geno, 7 minutes, 8 passes, 5 completions (two to us, three to the Bills). Vick, 1 int in 53 mins, that too when the team was miles behind and Buffalo knew we were passing all along. At least Vick provided a lil spark and that too with ZERO practice with any of those guys. A wk worth of practice will show in the game. **** Geno and his pansy lil ass. Crying lil bitch.

GenoandtheJets
Its too late to make this season a quality one. Vick might actually win this game for the jets. Any given Sunday. Anything can happen in the NFL. Bad teams beat good teams all the time. Look what happened on Monday night football tonight a very bad Redskins team just beat a very good Dallas team in Dallas. Who would of thought that would happen. I surely didn't. This season might be over. Atleast get 1 or 2 more wins Jets.
