faba
Red Sox, Snow agree to one-year, $2 million dealBy Jerry Crasnick ESPN.com J.T. Snow First Base San Francisco Giants Profile 2005 SEASON STATISTICS GM HR RBI R OBP AVG 117 4 40 40 .343 .275 Free agent first baseman J.T. Snow has agreed to terms on a one-year, $2 million contract with the Boston Red Sox. The deal will become official later Friday, pending a physical exam. "He's excited,'' said agent Dan Horwits. "J.T. was only going to consider a few places if he wasn't going back to San Francisco, and one of them was Boston right out of the chute. It's a good fit for him.'' Snow, 37, is a career .268 hitter in 14 seasons with the Yankees, Angels and Giants. He is expected to share time at first base with Kevin Youkilis in Boston. Good pickup for Boston to play first and provide good defense there
AFJF
Solid move by the Bosox. He'll give them a great glove and a good bat in big games. Fair price to boot at 2 mil.

mbn007
Truth is, Snow is a nice pickup by the Bosox. At a fair price also. He can still handle himself around the bag, and is not that bad a hitter. Good move for the Bosox.
