It's an even crazier stat when one considers we drafted 3 of them and had a gaping hole at one starting position all summer and for the first half of the season up to the Harvin trade.

 

In a way, the player who should be benched this game is Decker. If they want a last look at Harvin that's fine (I don't know what they're going to see this 1 game that tips the scales one way or the other on his return, but it's understandable). Decker is going nowhere and all that can happen is him busting a knee ligament that sidelines him all offseason and some or all of the regular season in '15.

 

Putting a lot of younger/backup types in also serves to make it less likely that we'll win one last meaningless game. 

 

It'll never happen because of the type of player he is and Ryan surely wants to coach his favorite players in his last game, but I'd also like to see Richardson on the sideline. Mo as well. Ditto Ivory.
