Sperm Edwards
Cant he be traded to a desperate team needing a vet LT for a mid round draft pick? Yes, he can.
Powpow
everyone knows you can't trade out of #6 damn not true. It just wont get you anymore than a 2nd rounder if we swap 1st round picks with another team who drafts in the middle of the pack. You never know if someone is enamored with a player sitting there at 6.
Powpow
Yes, he can. please offer a trade. I am all ears. He makes so much this year and I really think it would be best to revamp this line, get younger, and stockpile picks with a GM who knows what he's doing. Savage69
By this logic, Rich Kotite didn't get a fair shot as a HC. For every BB story (or Pete Carroll), there are 20 guys that fail. But, like the Pennington apologists (of which I once was), there's no reasoning with you. I like Rex, but his time here is over...just like Belichicks was in Cleveland (right before they moved to Baltimore). Rich Kotite was 10-6,11-5,8-8 and 7-9 his first 4 years as a HC.. Jet9
For everyone calling for Cowher: No coach has ever won a SB with 2 different franchises. funaz
Winning this game cost us the ability to trade down and recoup picks. At #4, we could have traded down for a team salivating over Randy Gregory, Leonard Williams, Shane Ray, or Amari Cooper. We might still be able to land the draft's best OL, Brandon Scherff, but now we have to get him out-right, without trading down and accumulating an additional pick. Trading down is stupid. This win hurt us, but not our ability to trade down

Greenseed4
Trading down is stupid. This win hurt us, but not our ability to trade down Trading down accumulates more draft picks. It's not stupid. It helps build rosters that need more than one fix, like us.

Trading down is better for teams with solid rosters. We need impact players, specifically QB. Only way we should move in the draft is up

j4jets
From a potential top 3 pick to the 6th pick. Yay If Jets were high on Beckham last UR, they would have traded up for him. Its not like we were forced with the pick.
Jetsbb
If Jets were high on Beckham last UR, they would have traded up for him. Its not like we were forced with the pick. Wtf are you talking about? They took who they thought was the best player at their pick. If they lost that last game all indications were they would have taken ODBJ one spot ahead of the Giants. That's right you rooted for Pryor over Beckham last year. Hope you're happy.

UnitedWhofans
Because Philbin sucks and the locker room is lost And yet they are keeping Joe Philbin. Shockwave
Last year not only cost us Odell Beckham. It got Rex an extension. It completely changed the course of the Jets. This year it surely takes us out of the Mariotta and Amari Cooper range. It might have given Rex ANOTHER year. With Geno's play against a team that really never showed up on Defense we may not go hard after a QB now. Still would love to see the whole Front Office fired. This season has been embarrassing. The Great One
No it is the #4 & #5 Deep draft at the top, there are 2 QBs, 2 supposed stud pass rushers, Cooper, so god forbid we get the best Olineman in the entire country, lol. Not sexy but it's done wonders for Dallas. With a new GM I think we'll be ok picking at 6. If the jets had Romo and Dez Bryant then yes OL would be the pick. At 6, gotta target Cooper. Kleckomania
The Raiders will be taking Cooper at 4th and he will be just as good as Odell Beckham. The gap between 4th overall and 6th overall is 200 pts according to the draft chart, which is the 76th pick overall Thanks for nothing Rex you fat loudmouth fvck

How the hell can anyone with a straight face claim that Cooper will be JUST AS GOOD? I'm sure there is a Dlineman in this draft that will be JUST AS GOOD as JJ Watt, lol.
