KRL
We know all about the big games and how many prospects will be on display in the Fla St. / Oregon and Ohio St. / Alabama games. But if you've recovered from partying check out the Baylor / Mich St. game at 12:30. Baylor QB Bryce Petty is a senior who puts up huge numbers in their spread offense. But Mich St. is a tough pro style defense that produces a lot of players. Watch to see if Petty can handle/diagnose and beat what Mich St. is going to throw at him http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1664902/bryce-petty He could be an Andy Dalton type that we could pick up in the 2nd/3rd round
32EBoozer
The Dalton comparison doesn't thrill me, but he is a competent NFL QB... and as a Jet fan, that's all we really need. He has won them a few big games. We just need stability at the position and a Dalton type player would give us that. Guy plays tough, which I also like. Maybe Winston will look bad enough to get himself to #6. Not sure if I'd want him there but does give us some options to trade the pick if we decide. KRL
Agreed, Andy Dalton is not the goal at QB. But if we could get that type of production in the regular season we would be a playoff team on a consistent basis

This game performance won't affect Winston's going one or two. The only thing that may drop him is if the girl proceeds in court with the sexual asault suit. aec4
Petty plays in a 1 read offense. Coming to a pro offense will be quite an adjustment.
patman
I don't think anyone thinks that he can play next year, but if someone wants to develop him, some skills are there to be developed..

CotcheryifyouCan
Cook and petty r the two qbs I want behind marriotta and Winston. Lets all pray cook lights it up and declares for the draft after today
UnitedWhofans
Cook has been unclear on his intentions. Jeremy Langford the running back is entering the draft and had a good showing early
The Troll
Really like Coates from Auburn. Know nothing about his draft stock, however.
UnitedWhofans
Bryce Petty can certainly throw the ball. Saw him flushed out of the pocket on that drive and use a pump fake.

SickJetFan
We already got Sheldon out of Missouri yes I know and they have a pretty good pass rusher who may end up a Jet
HunterGreen
Cook looks very good so far. Gets the ball out quick and on the money with zip. He looks like a Pro QB. Wish this kid would come out this year.
Tinstar
Really like Coates from Auburn. Know nothing about his draft stock, however. I really like coates also, but Ty Montgomery is the WR the Jets should go after. Kid does everything and is built like a pro already. SayNoToDMC
Not seeing the hype about Conner Cook right now. Granted this is the first time I've watched him play
Jets1958
Really like Coates from Auburn. Know nothing about his draft stock, however. Yes. Might be a Good 4th rounder receiver.
Tinstar
Devante Parker is the pick for me, assuming Cooper's gone I like Parker also, but he's skinny from the waist down . Gotta tell ya, that Kid Parker made Teddy Bridge water a 1st rounder. When he was not playing, Louisville didn't have an offense.
Tinstar
Not seeing the hype about Conner Cook right now. Granted this is the first time I've watched him play Connor Cook is special as a QB, but the big problem with him is he's too easy going. He's not the in your face type.
