Smizzy
Jim Fassel Donnie Henderson Ill pass on Jim fassel. God only permits 1 Sb per HC in NY,Fassel blew his shot. Maybe if Donnie's defense were a little or better or if he was outcoaching anybody then maybe Id feel more comfortable turning the job over to him.Im not. Do you not recall his tenure with the Bills. That should be enough to scare anyone off and it's probably a real good reason why he was so quick to reup as the DC in Washington. Alk
alk- you remember a coach in Cle that had troubles than made it big the 2nd time around? i forget his name..... He at least was able to get that team to the playoffs and it looked like he had them turned around until the owner abruptly sold the team. Williams on the other hand struggled the entire time he was there.

That should be enough to scare anyone off and it's probably a real good reason why he was so quick to reup as the DC in Washington. LOL you get stupider with every post. Greg Williams is one of the best defensive minds in football right now. he's made a team with mediocore talent in washington one of the best defences in the NFL. there is a reason he's the highest paid assastant coach in the sport. there were 5+ teams lining up to hire him and they had to garuntee him that he would replace joe gibbs to get him to stay. Williams was just plain horrible the entire time he was there. Don't get me wrong though, I would welcome him back to the East with open arms. It would be just like Herm had never left. I'm stupid because I think Gregg Williams is a joke of a HC? Stupid is thinking that a good coordinator makes for a good HC every time. Mike Martz ring a bell? Yeah, I'm sure you would want him too. RSJ
Greg Williams is intriguing in that his career has taken a similar path as BB's did. I also beleive that like BB, Williams has learned a lot this time around as an assistant under a HOFer like Gibbs. Just like I think BB did with Parcells the second time around. Though this is no guarentee since Williams was much worse than BB his first time around.

AVM
since when is a football message board post held to the same standerds as english class? just pointing out that by using words like stupider...you look a lot DUMBER than someone who doesnt trust a HC who has failed in the past. Keep in mind, the DC for Pitts.(leabeu?...i dont know how to spell his last name)was HORRIBLE as a HC(in cincy), but was and is great as a DC. Alk has a very good point, being a great DC doesnt always convert into a great HC, some guys just cant handle it all.

AVM
again...see the example of the guy with the Steelers.
