Rich Gannon was a 4th rd pick by the Pats in 1987 they wanted to make him into a RB but traded him to the Vikes..He did nothing until he got to the Raiders in year 12 and then made 4 Pro Bowls and 2 All Pro's in 4 years.. That speaks volumes. Not defending Rex, but if Atlanta thought he sucked they wouldn't have had him in for an interview. No one had Mike Smith or Marc Trestman in for an interview.
