Bob
First, we got rid of Hermie. Then, the Giants got bitch-slapped out of the playoffs! If the Patsies had lost, too, it would have been perfect. We'll have to wait until next weekend for that.

Garb
I could very well be the only person who is saddened by Hermie's departure. His leaving just made the Jets stronger - I call it Duane Starks Syndrome. First Wanstadt, now Hermie......darn.

No matter how your Patsie brethren try to spin it, it's addition by subtraction.

TaborJet
So you weren't real happy the Pats set another NFL record with their 10th consectutive playoff victory? ...at home, with a rusty Leftwich coming back, against the weakest wild-card team in the whole tourney. The Patsies haven't played a real opponent since November. So, on the road to mile-high they go, and if they manage to squeak by, then it's off to the RCA Dome. The Pats won't make it. I like my chances.
Garb
....that would be Invesco Field - about a mile away from Broke Back Mountain - where I suspect Porn Stache Plummer will be spending the off-season. They don't call him a snake for 'nuthin'! Real Take: The Pats historically have issues in Denver - and TB has played some poor games against Denver. The altitude will be somewhat of a factor and the Denver o-line's dirty play is something that the Pats d-line must be aware of all night long. That said, the Pats run defense has gone from third worst to third best.....and although we have faced "weaker" teams in the second half of the regular season, we did not face "weaker" backs. On the flip side - Denver is ranked 27th against the pass and TB led the league in passing. I think this game will be closer than most imagine and a high scoring affair. Are you really naive enough to think that everyone's picking your weak ass secondary and piss poor run game to go into Denver and BLOW OUT the Broncos? The Gun Of Bavaria
I smell an air war out there this weekend. Plummer and Brady zinging the ball all over the field. If that happens, advantage Brady and the Pats. Broncos don't establish the run early and often they're in trouble.
Garb
Closer than most imagine? Are you really naive enough to think that everyone's picking your weak a$$ secondary and piss poor run game to go into Denver and BLOW OUT the Broncos? How do you get "blow out" from "close?" My take is that most are expecting a Broncos victory - and many of those folks expect a comfortable victory at that. What you wrote indicates that most believe the game will be a BLOW OUT, which is what I wrote. Yes, I apologize if my reading comprehension skills are not on par with your superior intellect. The Patsies have to play real footall teams from here on in so we may get it yet.
