Beerfish
It hasn't been mentioned, because it doesn't exist. It's yet another perfect example, however, of how many Jets fans twist the truth into what they want to hear, instead of what actually ocurred. The video shows the ball boy going into the men's room for 90 seconds. Not "handling the footballs". Occums razor. There is no explanation for how the balls became deflated, especially that the pats did but the colts didn't. You trace back the chain of events and choose the most likely scenario. Now you can quickly say there was no conclusive proof that the ball boy did anything due to no video. This would be valid if the NFL and the commissioner had not gone out of their way and set a precedent in the Saints case and the 'there is no excuse for ignorance' comment. In addition if a person is hanging onto the notion of no proof presented then whey is Hernandez in jail and not playing for the Pats right now? He has been convicted of nothing. There has only been suspicion of wrong doing by evidence presented. He has not been convicted. There is no way the offending person will point a finger at the big boys in this case and he will probably deny any wrong doing at all. The whole key to the chain of events is how much pressure can be applied to this individual. If it some how, some day comes down to the guy having to give a statement under oath things may change in a big way.

Wait a second, for the entire week Jets fans have been clamoring that this is not a court of law and Goodell can do anything he wants. Now you saying for all the facts to come out, the guy needs to be served a subpena and testify under oath???????

Now you saying for all the facts to come out, the guy needs to be served a subpena and testify under oath??????? Yes, the reason? He can lie his ass off or say nothing to joe blow security analyst for the NFL. If he has to be under oath there is a thing called perjury and all that goes with it and that tends to open up the tight lips of people who would otherwise cover for others. Goodell still has to look at the evidence of that the balls were changed, when and how up for question but he has previous painted himself into a corner by suspending New Orelans personnel. We can only hope some NFL fan decides to sue over this and at least gets enough traction to make the guy make a statement. It's like one of the episodes of your previous cheating, it stook some time and some pressure before the dude doing the taping fessed up.

flgreen
LOL Of course a minimum pay bathroom attendant would take it on himself to manipulate the psi in the game balls. Why not? PFSIKH
Or exchange properly weighted balls for lighter balls that Brady prefers? True. However, there should be another video were another guy goes in with the other batch of balls. It's not all that difficult. Granted. It does look easy, but it was ~10 seconds with him holding the ball. Not grabbing ball out of bag, inserting into ball pressing it 1 or 2 times down to the preferred level, repeat process 10 more times. Possible? Sure, but if the guy was in there 5 minutes that would be one thing. 90 seconds? Not so much.

Because the Ravens, still butthurt from losing, complained to the league which they knew would cause them to check the balls in the Indy game. They then paid off a minimum wage ball attendant to deflate the balls, thus causing the hysteria that has followed. Wow. Conspiracy theories are FUN! In such a case, the paid-off ballboy will shortly roll on the Ravens for immunity from prosecution, and the issue will be settled. Of course, we both know that's most likely not what happened. Occam's Razor being what it is. I'm curious, to whom do you credit the Patriots amazing ball-control skills to on their staff? Who, in your view, is primarily responsible for teaching Pats players how to not fumble so well that it's almost unprecedented, and was so vital to that teaching that players who left his tutelage went back to fumbling at normal "average" amounts? ( as opposed to some conspiracy over 2 lbs. psi making nearly impossible to fumble a football).....MANY NFL players have stated they can't tell the diffence, while others disagreed, but all you Jets fans, who've never once felt a regulataion NFL football, say it's easy to tell) Me? I've seen plenty of fumbles, many at the worst possible time while watching the Pats play. And you notice what almost always happens to the offending player? He's taken out of the game immediately and frequently doesn't see any more game actions of several series if not games. So I'll go with the simplest answer, good coaching (and fear) and not some elaborate conspiracy is at play.
