Total BS ...Major Commisioner/Patriot orchestreated Coverup being jammed up our ass.

Francessa called this days ago , he said they will eventually pin it on a ref by getting him to recant that he inspected the balls properly...this is insulting , Goodell treating the public like suckers

Anyone else hear Pats homer Bill Burr defend the patriots on Bill Maher? "Wah Jim Irsay had the rules cmtee change rules 10 years ago cuz we interfered with their receivers wah!!!" "Wah we beat the colts by 40 points wah!"

What about the previous game your pats beat the ravens by the skin of their nuts?

Bill Burr - "nfl players should be allowed to do roids wah!"

Guess if Manny and Big Papi do roids why not Rodney Harrison and Brandon Browner? Oh wait

So the 2nd biggest game of the year, the refs decide not to do their job?

I had a feeling Goodell/Kraft would give walt Anderson a golden parachute.

Watch the fumble/drops stats go up next yr.  Embarassing league the NFL is, worse than wrastling

Again this is typical Pats - they see that the inspection process is a sham - they then provide balls less than the rules require - how is this not cheating? The refs don't catch it. Also this goes against the Patriot edict that they provided balls at 12.5 psi. So it still is not clear. I guess if the ref didn't measure it you cannot refute what they say. This whole thing is a joke in many ways - I am so tired of this team - they are unethical and yet want to be a model organization for the league. There is only one hope - Seattle.

100% consistant with all the reports that say the league has never cared about this rule and therefore the refs generally just give the balls a cursory glance pregame.  What's fishy in THIS story is why did the refs take THIS game to gauge the balls at halftime? I demand an explanation!

(I wonder if the coming apology will get as much mediot play as this now proven, baseless accusation?)

What is really funny is that Woody and the Jets will be punished more severely with fines/lost draft picks for tampering with Revis than the Pats will for all the false accusations regarding Deflategate.

NE should be awarded the Jets 2nd pick as compensation for damages.

they are not false, pats deflated balls for 7 yrs, Goodell is unwilling to prosecute Kraft again.. They will fire Anderson and pay him off.

No doubt. Probably had it down to a science, 5 clicks on each ball at the same pressure of click and at 7 seconds a ball you got 11 done in 80 seconds

Just like the pit crew in a Nascar race can change 2 tires in about 20 seconds.

four tires in 12.3 seconds is a good stop

98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Toucher and Rich Show” reports that the Patriots turned in their game balls slightly under-inflated and an official — presumably head referee Walt Anderson — signed off on them. The show’s source indicated that a pressure gauge was not used.

Walt Anderson...  that explains a lot right there. Complete BS!

And how did they know the balls were turned in "slightly under inflated" unless they are now admitting that they did so on purpose?

This does not even begin to pass the smell test.

Talk about Spygate all over again.  This is now the 15th theory/excuse that has been tossed out there and whichever one cannot be disproved must have been what happened.

Yeah right

Or alternatively, someone in the organization whose job it is to doctor the balls every week simply did their job the same way they do every week leading to the same outcome as every other week.  Except this time the balls got checked again at half time.

yeah exactly. how on earth would anyone know for sure they were turned in under-inflated unless it was known beforehand? the patriots are still cheaters no matter what happens with this "investigation"

Except he randomly took air out with a pin, not exactly 2 pounds psi with a guage. Big difference.

Although, it's a moot point now anyway, so who cares

you could either know exactly what the count is to get them right or use a gauge that also deflates just as easily as this. who says its a moot point? you? lol

Nobody.

The pats will get to play in the an and nothing will happen to them. If they win the media goes back to kissing their ass

Welker makes that catch 99 times out of 100.

He got both hands on the ball but didn't make the catch.

He choked in a clutch moment.

Brady choked. It's OK to admit it.

He's been Peytoning in big playoff spots for a decade now.

The pass was clearly high, late and too far outside.
