Jan. 28, 2015: A "deflated" chocolate football called a "Bradie" Ball is on display at Sarris Candy store in in Canonsburg, Pa. (AP)

A Pennsylvania candy maker got some kicks out of a deflated chocolate football it made as it poked fun at the New England Patriots' "Deflategate" scandal.

Sarris Candies owner Bill Sarris created a chocolate football with a dent in its side and shared a picture of it on Facebook. Sarris told the The Washington Observer-Reporter that the company made the treat "just for fun."

The name of the candy is called the "Bradie" ball. It is spelled B-R-A-D-I-E for legal purposes. The company posted the ball on the social media site with a caption that reads, "Net weight 13 lbs ... Oops! We meant 11.2 lbs."

The Western Pennsylvania company told the paper it received 30 calls Tuesday asking if the Bradie ball was for sale. However, Sarris managers revealed that the item was not available for purchase..

Sarris did not reveal how he made the candy, which was used as a shot toward the Patriots and the scandal surrounding the team after its win over the Indianapolis Colts in the conference championship game nearly two weeks ago. The team and quarterback Tom Brady are being accused of deflating footballs to gain an unfair advantage in the game.

Sarris said making the candy and sharing it on Facebook was a way for Pittsburgh Steelers fans to "beat up on New England.".

Football fans in the area can still purchase a chocolate football helmet for $60.

Brady choked. It's OK to admit it.

He's been Peytoning in big playoff spots for a decade now.

The pass was clearly high, late and too far outside.

lol.. you posted a video entitled welker drops.. with a butterfingers image at the end to support the idea that it was actually Brady's fault

only klacko

and welker choked .. recievers make adjustments to balls all the time

hey did you guys hear the real cheaters are actually the seahawks ?  no really its true

http://espn.go.com/nfl/playoffs/2014/story/_/id/12244470/seattle-seahawks-found-way-use-penalties-their-advantage

There's a team in Super Bowl XLIX that, for years, has created a major competitive advantage by blatantly disregarding NFL rules.

I'm talking about the Seattle Seahawks, of course........

he goes onto say they commit a penalty on every play, but the refs can't (won't) throw the flag because it would ruin the game

I thought that was the revis revolution ?

or the brady blockers union ?

Well unfortunately my patriots equation is

Belicheat - (Brady + Cheating) =  Kotite

The equipment guys and Brady had ample time to break the balls in and methodically adjust the pressure to Brady's exact requirements.

The 90-second bathroom visit is just a decoy that has nothing to do with anything.

Goodell might've alerted the Pats beforehand. That could be the reason for the 12 backup balls Brady said they prepared.

I was thinking about this today.

People act like this "bathroom break" is the only time it could be done.  They act like the balls go from the officials to the field for the start of the game.  I think people are forgetting pre-game warmups.  You know, the time when the QB's and everyone else are feeling the footballs. The refs most likely aren't watching the ball boys and they are also probably not recording pre-game warmups to check any tapes.  Ample time for someone to deflate some footballs.

The Cheatriots are the worst offenders. The holding their OL does and their secondaries' PI couldn't be anymore blatant. I'm sure the refs know if they call too many penalties on the Pats and not enough on the opposing team, then Kraft will make sure they will be officiating games in Siberia next season.

2 points in this article.

1. That might explain how Brady couldn't tell the difference.

2. Because the NFL is using a low standard of proof, a smoking gun may not be necessary.

This is another BS article. They've been trying so hard to bury this. Yesterday it was the officials only did a squeeze test. Game officials came out and said that was false. Do today its they didn't record the data properly. This sounds like the refs tested the balls - saw 10psi, but simply didn't write it down in a log. There's been literally a different excuse every single day since this happened. Those excuses get refuted and the next day it's a new one.

Incompetence of the highest degree. At this rate, the NFL will be giving Kraft his apology. Heck, Goodell might even give him some extra draft picks for his trouble.

Devastating comments from Montana:

"Montana doesn’t seem to think deflated footballs are a big deal"

Montana doesn’t seem to think deflated footballs are a big deal, but he also doesn’t think the Patriots’ footballs would have become deflated in the AFC Championship Game for any reason other than Brady wanting someone to do it.

"Blandino said that referee Walt Anderson did everything properly in regard to testing the footballs before the game on Jan. 18. Each team provided 24 footballs to Anderson 2 hours and 15 minutes before the game, and Anderson personally tested each one and marked them approved for use, Blandino said.

“From everything that we reviewed and all the information that we have, the balls were properly tested and marked prior to the game,” Blandino said. “We’ve done our part, in terms of looking at what Walt Anderson and the crew did and how things were handled, and they were handled properly from that perspective. Everything that comes out of that will be made public.”

Good news...Wonder what todays excuse will be.  Starting to sound like the refs are getting PO'd that they're trying to blame them.
