2015: Yankees Opening Day 25 Man Roster

We'll y'know David Wright hit those massive 8 hrs last season. What a coincidence his career has done a kamikaze ever since the mlb actually started checking for steroids.

Not sure why you want to bring David Wright into this, but ok. Wright had an injured shoulder last year.

MLB started testing for steroids in 2003. Wrights first mlb year was 2004. So you sound a little bitter. You also sound quite wrong. Why so bitter?

Coming from a Yankee fan, Wrights a really good player. He just needs to stay healthy. Not sure why steroids are being thrown around his name for in this thread. He's done nothing to deserve that assumption.

What? Except suck the last several years and break down at the ripe age of 32?

You have to believe that he has one or 2 hot streaks in him. A month where he hits 5-6 home runs is not out of the question. If he makes it to 120 games, these are pedestrian stats.

I just think he is going to break down. The past few years he was falling apart physically and that is with a few scientific advantages at his disposal lol. Not sure he is going to stay healthy now that he has to pass the piss test regularly. :)

Wait wait wait, I wont argue with most of what you are saying here, but Chase Headley can't hit? He has a 113 ops+ for his career hitting in one of the hardest ballparks to hit in in baseball. And that doesn't even address his great defense and the rest of the Yankees defense which should be really good. Games changed, did anyone see those teams that were in the World Series last year? Solid pitching, defense, and timely hitting. Yankees will be fine with this roster if mostly everyone stays healthy.

The game definitely has changed. Somewhere Jason Giambi is rolling over in his grave.
