Lego My Lageman
Screw the Patriots and their cheating pos franchise, what a joke this is.
PatsFanTX
The pats in the late 60s (when the jets/Pats situation was turned on its head) were brutal, Then Fairbanks came in, we got the new Stadium (who cared if it was the worse) and things looked good for a few years then just 15 years of total mismanagement and the worse owner in the NFL. Teams did not even want to play in NE as at that time they would get 40% of the gate and there was only about 40,000 there every sunday, unless it was Dallas, Pitt or Miami. Girls up here who were fans wore Marino gear. Bledsoe was the 2nd best qb the pats had, Grogan was RGIII, before RGIII was born. He like Namath and Orr would have lasted at the top for a lot longer with modern knee surgery. Grogan while not the qb that Bledsoe was was a much better leader. Bledsoe on the other hand was the guy a father would hope his kid would be. A guy that put his family above all else. I still can't believe they built Schaefer Stadium for $7.1MM. What a friggn' dump.
PatriotReign37
I still can't believe they built Schaefer Stadium for $7.1MM. What a friggn' dump. And the mafia still made money. Ive seen high school stadiums better than that place.
patman
And the mafia still made money. Ive seen high school stadiums better than that place. I remember the first thing kiam did when he bought the team was put in about 500 port a johns inside the concourses. Before that it was a 15 min wait with the stadium half full
PatsFanTX
And the mafia still made money. Ive seen high school stadiums better than that place. You should see some of the high school football stadiums down here. They are truly incredible. Everytime there is a bond issue on the ballot to build a new football stadium, it passes like 95%-5%. There was one small town with a population of 9,500 and they just built a brand new stadium with a capacity of 15,000. WTF?
PatriotReign37
I agree. Not for those Pats bandwagoner fans, but for those who were pissed at the roughing the passer call against Sugerbear Hamilton, the fans who were shocked at Tony Eason's horrible performance in Super Bowl XX, the fans who cheered the convict plowing away the snow against Don Shula. For those fans, respect must be given Tuna Parcells quitting the Pats super bowl week. Fairbanks announcing that he was resigning as HC before the final regular season game of 1973 just as NE was preparing for the playoffs. Pats lost 1st game. Darryl Stingley - Tatum never went to see him or say that it was an accident. Pats finally make it to their 1st Super Bowl in 1985 only to face the greatest NFL defense of all time. Things were going good until the coin toss. A wolf in sheeps clothing from St Louis (Orthwien) bought the Pats and tried to bring them back to Missouri. Robert Edwards - He was a beast rushing and receiving until he nearly tore one of his legs off in a flag football game at the pro bowl after his rookie season. Gainzo
Thanks for nothing in this Congrats Patriots fan thread. You didn't congratulate me RSJ .I'm devastated. Seriously though I do appreciate the texts from my Jets friends. I did absolutely nothing on Sunday night but those cool guys still sent congrats. That is what sport is all about. KINGDIRK
There is no need to congratulate the cheaters from New England. They got lucky that the Seahawks offensive Coordinator forgot to call a simple and obvious run play 2 yards from the endzone. Russel Wilson should of changed the play to a run and take it to the endzone. Throwing from the 2 was the most highly questionable call in super bowl history they had beast mode and neglected to handoff to him instead it was intercepted on the throw. what an idiotic call choice. They also lost a Perfect Season based on luck. A Hail Mary on 3rd and forever that an average NFL WR caught off his helmet. This time around they happened to be on the right end of the dumbest play call ever.

peekskill68
I can't congratulate anyone who roots for that team, but I have to admit after seeing a few pictures from their parade yesterday, it's tough not to like Gronkowski...
