peekskill68
Again we need both. Unless you want no depth at WR again. Ain't gonna happen. No way are we committing that kind of $$ to WR with no secondary, an aging OL and no outside pass rush...
The Troll
IMO if Jets GM feels Geno is not answer, then spend $$ on OL and Defense. Then when you get a QB, you can add skill positions That's a great way to build a team. That way, when we get a QB, we won't even know we have one because he's throwing to David Nelson and Clyde Gates.

There are plenty of draftable WR's that wont cost you $10M a yr, look at last yr's draft, only IDZIK drafted the wretched.

joewilly12
The Packers reportedly informed free agent Randall Cobb's camp that they are willing to sign him to a five-year deal worth $8-9 million annually. Agent Jimmy Sexton "basically has told the team he's confident more lucrative offers await." Venerable Packers beat writer Bob McGinn confirms the Jaguars are "expected to be all over Cobb," while the Raiders are "also ready to enter the Cobb sweepstakes." Concludes McGinn, "barring the unexpected ... it appears as if Cobb will be playing elsewhere next season."
JetsRay
So if Cobb lands a deal over 10 million a year, Harvin suddenly becomes a bargain with no guaranteed money...
prime21
A source tells Yahoo the Packers "balked" at paying free agent Randall Cobb $10M per year. The Packers are reportedly willing to pay Cobb $8-9 million annually, but aren't going to go past that number. So unless Cobb surprisingly chooses to give a massive hometown discount, Aaron Rodgers will be left with Davante Adams and Jeff Janis behind Jordy Nelson. The Raiders and Jaguars, armed with an ocean of cap space and a need to spend it to meet league minimums, figure to offer something around the $11M per season Cobb is seeking
Joe W. Namath
Sign matt moore, cobb and spliller. Draft cooper at 6. You have moore at qb, decker and cooper on the outside. Cobb in the slot. Amaro and tight end. Ivory as the hammer and spiller as the change of pace. Would be the best offense we had in over a decade.
kmnj
harvin should be cut and the money given to cobb who is not a headache(pun intended as harvin has missed many games due to headaches) is a better WR and does not get hurt

Jet9
Harvin's Jets season last year over a full year averages out to 58 rec and 2 TDs. Yeah yeah, Geno or some other such nonsense. Funny how Decker, who isn't nearly as "EXPLOSIVE!!!!!" or "DYNAMIC!!!!" was able to get 74 grabs and 5 TDs.

Sully28
Hope the Raiders give him 11-12 million per, he's a slot receiver, we need an outside guy.

His 2014 with Seatlle and NY... 13 games, 51 catches, 483 yards, 1 TD. This board overrates him dramatically.
Raideraholic
Yeah, sign me up for Blake Bortles or Derek Carr. Screw that Rodgers guy. Let's see Randall Cobb is 24 years old and Aaron Rodgers is 32. Will Rodgers be around for his whole career , or Cobb can play with either of the two young Qb's for the rest of his career.
