Mariota just doesn't have the arm strength that Winston does. And his down the field accuracy leaves much to be desired. Mariota is very accurate in his offense, but that's not a pro style offense. Mariota just doesn't have the arm strength that Winston does. And his down the field accuracy leaves much to be desired. Mariota is very accurate in his offense, but that's not a pro style offense. the only reason why people are not calling this guy a tail end 1st round to 2nd round pick is because of the constant hyping. he is not top 10 material and would be a better choice at atop the 2nd round. They both come out of gimmicky offenses. But it does not mean Mariota cannot play it straight. That observation does not make him worth the 6th pick, tho, IMHO. Before the playoffs you could have sworn he was the next Aaron Rodgers and anybody who said otherwise an iq of 2.
