Danny Woodhead was the only impact player the Pats ever got from the Jets. Hated to see him move on to San Diego. Brady will play at least 3 more years through the end of his contract. Repeat this philosophy for every player to be kept, signed, traded for, or drafted. If the GM is keeping or bringing in the wrong players, whether veterans or rookies, cockblocking the Patriots from acquiring one player or another - one they may not be able to sign or even want in the first place - isn't going to fix a badly constructed team.
