Why would I be jealous? The Pats keep proving they can't win without cheating. You're like the Lance Armstrong of the NFL. It's nothing to admire.

So, if the Jets won 4 Super Bowl titles in the last 14 years (that's pretty funny in itself), you would dis-own those accomplishments because of creating competitive advantages on the football field?

99.9% of Jets fans would still be doing back-flips.

I don't think you get the concept of playing sports. The best team should win the superbowl, not the biggest cheater. To answer your question: Yes. Why be proud of something you wouldn't be able to do if you didn't cheat?

With all due respect, you are full of crap.

You'd disown 4 Jets Super Bowl titles?????

You need to spend your Sundays watching Little League and Pop Warner games if you feel like that.

You don't have to disown them, but don't walk around like you earned those rings, like you just happened to be better, like you outworked your opponent that day when really you just won by cheating.

I'm not saying the Pats had no shot at winning those rings if they didn't cheat. You still had a great team, you could have gotten those rings without cheating. But that's not what happened. Bill didn't have enough faith in his own team so he decided he'd have to cheat in order to get there. There's nothing prideful about that.

And that is the sad part if your a Pat fan.. Why indulge in the extra BS when you really didn't need it..Why bring scandal and cheating accusations to mar your success.. If I was a Pat player I would be pissed at BB for putting a dark cloud over what they accomplished..

There was a debate? When?

Who were the pro-knock-the-sh*t-out-of-chicks advocates?

Ray Rice has one bad year and he is done.  Stevie Johnson has two and it is sign this beast.

I feel like this board has become bizarro world the past few weeks. It borders on unreadable at times... the only redeeming moments are when CTM sends me photos in PM.

Running backs are done once they hit the wall in mileage terms. Johnson was 4th on SF's depth chart last year with a glorified option qb throwing the ball but whatevs

He has two years putting up sub Jeremy Kerley numbers while making a ton of coin.  He wasn't buried on the depth chart.  He buried himself. He actually was 3rd WR behind Boldin and Crabtree.  It would not look so bad if he were losing snaps to Patton and Ellington, but Brandon Lloyd?  That dude is ancient and was an impending FA.  I happen to like Johnson, but the idea that he is both in top form and cheap is misguided.  It is one or the other.

Rice had one bad year.  Even in that season he still caught the ball plenty.  He might be a good fit with Gailey since he can actually catch the ball.  FWIW, the entire Ravens rush offense took a major step back in 2013 and as bad as he was, Rice ypc was still significantly higher than Pierce. I am not advocating the Jets go after Ray Rice, just pointing out that a guy that he will certainly come cheaply and is no further removed from his last good season as Johnson.

Rice is done and he hits women. He had a ton of carries at Rutgers before getting a ton of carries with the ravens. I know you like him when you play Madden but this isn't 5 years ago.

Stevie Johnson was a backup last year because he was traded to a team that had two starters. Before that his qb was worse than Geno. Different situation but I guess in your world sending out a dumb tweet is worse than knocking out a woman.

That is a lot of excuses for a guy that has sucked for 2 years, on 2 teams, with more than 2 QBs.  Rice had one down year. He still got yards, but his ypc were very bad.  The entire Ravens run O was down though and Rice was better than Pierce.  I don't hear people saying Pierce is done.  Rice dinged his hip early in the season and missed time.  They installed a new "run game coordinator" in Castillo from Philly.  He tried some read and react blocking that apparently did not suit Rice, Pierce or the maulers that they had.  I am not saying to go and get Rice.  Off the field concerns are enough to stay away, and Rice isn't going to give you much upside.  The idea that he can't do what Tomlinson did here or the almighty Powell is a bit much. He seems like a guy that would flourish under Gailey.
