JustInFudge
I think I'd like the signing as there's a solid chance he becomes out #2 when/if Decker goes down for a few games. I'd rather have Marshall and Moore with Kerley still in the slot as opposed to Marshall and Salas/Kerley/graham and then tossin the other guy in the slot. Seems like overkill as a #3/4, but of you consider the likelihood that Marshall and Decket miss a few games it doesn't seem like the worst idea. Out WR depth has been embarrassing the last few years. Fair enough but he sucks...so I dont really see how he fixes the issue. It's depth...but its sh*tty depth. So what's the point? I'd rather let one of the guys on their roster work for it. This kid clearly doesnt want to, so let someone hungry who has something to prove and wants to earn a place on the field earn his position. I guess if you're signing him cheap and letting him compete cool...but what message is this sending to the team if Mac signs every shiny object instead of investing in our own and letting them earn some playing time? The winners in March are very rarely winners in Dec.
JustInFudge
Carr had 21 tds and 12 picks as a rookie Geno in his second year had to have a perfect game in his last start to finish at 13-13.. haha. Somehow Carr's sh*ttiness didnt effect James Jones who had a career year in receptions with Carr after leaving Aaron Rodgers.

I don't even think they are going to sign him

I don't even think they are going to sign him Unlikley at this point but similar to how Gilchrist deal transpired. Spend a full day with the team, supposedly left the facility w/o a deal so speculation was that he wouldn't sign...later that night they came to terms. Moore could be a better addition than you think but it has to be on the cheap. Keep in Mind the way Charlie Weiss used Dedric Ward certainly Ward was not great WR but he made some really clutch plays and help open up our offense. If we have a QB who can throw a decent deep ball Moore could be a nice fit if used properly
