He also said he attended OL and other offensive meetings. He is not Rextard.

Take it easy on the big guy. Nobody explained to Wrecks until year 3 that this team doesn't just consist of a defense. Once he learned that there is an offense as well he quickly did a lot of research via Google on what makes an effective offense in football. He's a real self made guy.

Why didn't he just talk to his dad. At Least his Dad was paying enough attention to the offense when he punched out Kevin Gilbride (sp) .

The guard rotation. It's way too soon to know how things will play out, but James Carpenter, a free agent who came over from the Seahawks, got the first-team reps at left offensive guard, while Willie Colon (last year's starter) and Oday Aboushi split reps at right guard. Brian Winters, who began last season as the starting left guard but who's recovering from a torn ACL, took some reps with the second-team offense at center. All of this will be worth watching as through next month's organized team activities and June's minicamp.

The replacements. With Pryor, Kerley, Richardson, and Richardson not present, Jaiquawn Jarrett and Antonio Allen got work as the first-team safeties, Leger Douzable got work with the first-team defensive line, and Walt Powell, Chris Owusu, Saalim Hakim, and T.J. Graham got reps with the punt return units.

How did guys do? Geno Smith, who will not have the starting quarterback's job handed to him again this summer, struggled to make throws at times. Wideout Brandon Marshall, acquired via trade from the Bears, looked big and strong and made at least one tough catch. Prodigal cornerback Antonio Cromartie had a nifty pass break-up. And wideout Eric Decker caught a ball in front of Darrelle Revis on the first play of team drills. But, again: It's April 28. No need to read too much into any of this.
