Roger Goodell says Deflategate report should be released 'soon'...***updated 5/6: REPORT RELEASED*** (starts page 8)

Recommended Posts

Why would that happen?

It is obvious that there is absolutley no proof whatsoever that the Pats did anything wrong.

Why do you think this has dragged on for over 100 days?

Well if 11 of 12 patriots game balls being egregiously underinflated in multiple playoff games isn't proof I guess that's right.

Why have the investigators taken 100 days ? Care to explain ?

This is a very in depth investigation. They had to talk to the janitors at Lucas oil stadium and Gillette stadium before interviewing Tom Brady. Y'know, the guy who threw and handled these flat footballs the entire game what could he possibly know?!?

2 lbs of PSI is the equivalent of a feather.

But whatever floats your boat.

Avg PSI is 12.5 lbs

2 lbs is roughly 16% - a non-retarded person would say that's significant.

Oh and since when did a feather weigh 2lbs?!?

The ironic thing is the media kisses belichicks scrotum so much they make this stuff sound like its a good thing. There goes that cerebral genius Belichick finding any edge he can!

Nothing is going to happen to the pats. Maybe they get some bs $10,000 fine Kraft's escorts cost more than that.

About time this stupid witch hunt is over.

Hope you guys are not too disappointed in the outcome.

Well if Belichick didn't purposely deflate game balls so his players wouldn't fumble maybe the stupid witch hunt wouldn't happen?

History will always look back on the PATS as a team that continually broke the rules.

No matter what the penalty or people who feel "everyone does it", this teams place in history will always be tarnished.

Disagree

Nobody will even remember this 20 years from now.

That said they are a bunch of cheating weasels

The report said Brady traded autographs and sneakers in exchange for the balls deflated.

Any truth to this?

If that was me I'd at least ask to make out with Giselle

The Black Sox scandal is still remembered. Why not this?

Throwing World Series games is a way bigger deal

So the jets almost beating the pats in that Thursday night game prompted this? Lol Rex must be loving this

Just like you think your post count on a JETS message board isn't concrete evidence that you are a complete loser?

Don't bother with him or any pat fans that waste everyone's time on a jets website.

Are they claiming this started this season in an attempt to throw us off the track regarding systematic years of under-inflation that kept their fumble rate down?

Belichicks reaction to Ridleys fumble problems in 2013 seemed a little conspicuous.

So it's the Jets fault because Brady was frustrated by his own sh*tty performance?

According to the report Brady freaked out about almost losing to the jets that's why he did this.

My guess is they had been doing it for years periodically and stopped to avoid getting caught. They got their asses kicked that Monday night game by Kansas City and almost lost to the jets so it was 10.5 psi rest of the way and Brady and Belichick riding those lockeroom attendants hence the funny text messages.

Yeah, I gotta admit - I'm pretty happy right now...

I'll be happier when Bellichick and Brady get a year and they lose a #1

A draft pick is a possibility but I doubt there's a suspension.

What's the first thing you think of when you see/hear this name:

Albert Belle

Best hitter of the mid-90's

Why do you guys want Brady suspended? I want to beat him not rely on Goodell to pretend to be a real commisioner

personally I want the bullsh*t to just stop

just line up and play ball

like a 3 year old, you need consequences to shape behavior

I get that but if idiot Idzik signs Revis and Desean last year we kick the S out of the patriots deflated balls or not

This speaks volumes to his knowing data was on phone implicating him, but probably other players and coaches

"In the report, Wells also noted that Brady refused to turn over his cell phone and other personal information for investigative purposes."

If Brady has nothing to hide what's the deal?

This is, of course, typical of Roger Goodell. We knew all along that he wouldn't have the backbone to punish his assistant commissioner and the golden boy.

Assistant commissioner? Kraft runs the f'n league.

is Teddy Bruschi still on the Patriots payrole?

it seems strange that on ESPN right now see him speak exactly what Belichick stated months ago in the first press conference months ago.

isn`t he supposed to be unbiased?

You still watch ESPN?

I wouldn't be totally surprised to see Marsha retire after this. Her contract was restructured in 2014 so that Patriots can cut ties with her. Belicheat is still a problem.

He'll just serve a 2-4 game suspension, come back and make the playoffs. The media, especially ESPN, will kiss his ass

2 I agree, 4 I think they miss the playoffs..

They're really not that good without him.  The AFC East is going to be very tough this year.

They can go 9-3 with Brady and still make it.  We don't have a qb and neither does Buffalo.

Certainly they could...I don't believe they will.  They don't have last years defense.  They're going to give up points...and Brady coming in cold - no practice with the team....And no more deflated balls...

The lack of deflated balls really hurt them in the Super Bowl.
