Agree, it's about the fifth. The Texans just tossed their old employee a dude they were going to cut anyway. Nothing wrong with that. I'd still like to see Enunwa get a chance to beat him out.

No doubt in my mind that that opportunity will be afforded. I think the guy that needs to worry about his roster spot is Kerley, frankly. I'd be shopping his ass as a throw-in to a move up in the 5th or 4th. Unload that terrible salary, and clear the way for Smith, Shaq, Enunwa and Posey.

Was a 5th, 7th and a JAG worth moving down for?

Must be confident the guy the would have picked will still be there at 80-something.

I liked what we did in round 1 & 2 but I think we should have stayed with the BPA strategy.  Jaelen Strong would have been a steal in round 3 regardless of the devin smith pick in round 2.

Knowing how we draft watch Jaelen Strong become a pro bowl caliber player like Alshon Jeffrey did after we passed on him for Stephen Hill.

That makes zero sense. Still a few holes to plug in the line, linebacker, running back, and QB. No sense to draft a 5th WR.

Prolly not unless there is more from NO ... Brees only has a couple years left.

3 years of Brees = 3 years favored to win it all with the team we have to surround him with.

Commentators at the draft compared his playing style to Eric Decker. Not bad for a rookie, but if thats the case then we already have that type of player.
