thshadow
Eli Harold is still on the board. It wouldn't shock me if we take him if he's there. Would you cheer for BPA, or would you throw your (something) out the window for taking another defensive player?
JETSfaninNE
I would still cheer. But I still want us walking away with an OLB, OL and either WR or RB over the next 3 rounds.
Integrity28
BPA!!! HOORAY!!! Honestly, we've got a pretty complete team right now. Not perfect, but by no means filled with gaping holes. The best teams in the league take the best player, because they are already built to be good, and can afford a "rich get richer" lifestyle. Persiussa
I think he might actually be the best player left that doesn't have baggage. I love his in game film and I'd be thrilled if we took him. Right now he's my favorite for the pick. This morning I've spent time going back and watching games on YouTube for players we might pick and out of all of these guys Harold seems to be the most impressive followed by devin smith. I will admit though I don't feel comfortable evaluating o lineman so I can't include those players.
Ghost
We desperately need an OLB. Pace is slow as molasses. If not EH or Gregory, we have to go offense.
LouisvilleSlugger25
I am rooting for offense with our next 2 picks, but I am not going to be whine if they decide that a defensive player is too good to pass up at 37.
deucebag
A pass rushing OLB is the only opening needed to have a complete D, so I would be thrilled if Harold fell into our hands in Rnd 2. At WR we have Decker, Marshall, Kerley - and then a fight amongst Owusu, TJ Graham, Shaq and Enuwa for the last two spots...so I wouldnt be surprised if WR is not on the radar this year. 3rd rnd will prolly be OL or QB. JETSfaninNE
I'm not going to be surprised at all if we now skip the rest of the QB class and find the perfect marriages between BPA and positional needs for the rest of the draft.
Joe W. Namath
Will grayson still be there in rnd 3? If we could get a pass rusher then grayson....... Wow!!!!

jetfuel
He's a great athlete and although I prefer an offensive playmaker and he may not have the ideal size in the Bowles system I would certainly be pleased if they got him
KRL
I've been thinking about that also because Harold isn't the only attractive LB left on the board: Benardrick McKinney Eric Kendricks are both available also. I would accept that they were the BPA, but I hope the next two picks address two of the following positions OT, WR, RB
Jetsfan80
Athletic linebackers, either off the edge or the inside, are desperately needed commodities for this team. If that happens to align with the BPA on our board when our pick is due, I'm perfectly happy with it.
Patriot Killa
Would be VERY happy. Eli would help a lot and is a need.

Would you cheer for BPA, or would you throw your (something) out the window for taking another defensive player? I would - we need Off not Def enuff already I agree with the Williams pick as it was no brainer but with all the Db's we got and all the DL we are covered no matter who (IK) is coming off the edge I think we in good position to grab petty - dont think he is worthy of 2nd round but we may not get a chance in 3rd. No one in front of us tonight needs a QB so unless someone trades up above us we have our choice and 2nd tier QB. Take him and dont be greedy. JiF
Its a need. Not sure he'll be BAP. Guess that matters on who gets selected before the Jets are up again. I wouldnt be upset at all.

We can wait until Saturday and still get a quality running back. We don't need to draft any quarterbacks today because they are not beating out Geno or Fitz and are all developmental guys. keysersoze
I don't get the sense that Mac is BPA all the way. You take BPA when the top talent is there, that's a given. The 2nd and 3rd rounds is when you start going for a combo of value and need. I predict either of WR or OL for the time being. I can see Mac grabbing a pass rushing prospect in the 4th and letting Bowles develop him alongside a stacked DL.

I am not impressed with any of these quarterbacks and would rather add more weapons at wide out and or running back (speedy guy who can also return kicks (Ty Montgomery comes to mind) and a OL. bealeb319
Depends who is still available, if we took Eli Harold over Jalen Strong, DGB, Devin Smith, or Gregory who I think are all better prospects then I would be upset. if they are all gone and we take Eli Harold I think it would be a decent pick. jetsjetsjetss
Wouldnt hate it but I still want a good offensive lineman

prime21
I agree that we need to address the wide receiver but a linebacker, running back and offensive lineman are a greater need. If we don't pick a WR in the 2nd round where does that leave us? Decker/Marshall/Kerley/Evans? We are better this year than we were last year because of Marshall (5th round). Lets pretend we made the deal for Marshall today by sending our 5th round pick to Chicago so that we we could look at another position in the 2nd round. We need a LB because Pace and Babbin are really depth chart guys. We also desperately need one of these dynamic type running backs. Duke or Ameer will add another dimension to the passing game and could be available in the 3rd round...maybe. WR is not the biggest need right now. If we do pick one I would like Devin Smith who is better fit for Gailey's system.

Larz
we need young linebackers so I would be very ok with it as long as the rest of the draft is WR,RB,QB,TE,OL,QB,RB,WR,OL,TE,QB,WR
Warfish
I really want a WR in 2 and QB in 3 (or vice versa, as appropriate). But I almost....ALMOST.....pray that the clear-cut BAP at our next pick is a D-Lineman and that we select them, just to hear the loltastic defense some folks would inevitably throw up for the BAP Theory. I will be content but underwhelmed. I will probably say that I am underwhelmed. This will anger people because the Internet is very serious business.
