Dumb ass Jets don't even know how to cheat right. During the pre-game inspection, Anderson determined that all but two of the Patriots game balls delivered by McNally were properly inflated. Most of them measured 12.5 psi. Two tested below 12.5 psi and Anderson directed another game official to further inflate those two game balls, which Anderson then adjusted to 12.5 psi using a pressure gauge. Most of the Colts game balls tested by Anderson prior to the game measured 13.0 or 13.1 psi. Although one or two footballs may have registered 12.8 or 12.9 psi, it was evident to Anderson that the Colts‟ inflation target for the game balls was 13.0 psi. No air was added to or released from the Colts game balls pre-game because they were all within the permissible range.

You have to be the most boring poster on the board my original thought is simple. the more you troll, the more the board sees the truth. post like a normal person and you won't have to see it. since you are a troll, that means I will probably wind up posting the entire report over the next few weeks. that's cool. there are cool graphs and pics and stuff Based on videotape evidence and witness interviews, it has been determined that McNally removed the game balls from the Officials Locker Room at approximately 6:30 p.m. After leaving the Officials Locker Room carrying two large bags of game balls (Patriots balls and Colts balls), McNally turned left and then turned left again to walk down a corridor referred to by Patriots personnel as the “center tunnel” heading to the playing field. At the end of the center tunnel on the left-hand side, approximately three feet from the doors that lead to the playing field, is a bathroom. McNally entered that bathroom with the game balls, locked the door, and remained in the bathroom with the game balls for approximately one minute and forty seconds. He then left the bathroom and took the bags of game balls to the field.
Sperm Edwards
Since he bought the team fifteen years ago, the valuation for the jets has nearly doubled. He's a smart businessman. Jetsfan80
An investment taking 15 years to double in value really isn't that impressive when you think about it. Especially when you factor in inflation rates. Using the inflation calculator (found here: http://www.usinflationcalculator.com/), an item bought for $635M, as Woody did in 2000, should be worth $871M today. The team is currently worth an estimated $1.23B. Sounds impressive but no moreso than any other NFL owner due to revenue sharing. For comparison purposes, Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys for $140M in 1989. Inflation would suggest it should be worth $267M today. They're worth $3.2B today. His eyes, however, are too far apart. drdetroit
An investment taking 15 years to double in value really isn't that impressive when you think about it. All the franchises in all the sports leagues have gone up in value exponentially. The Yankees were worth $250 mil in 1993 they're now worth $2.5 billion. The clippers just sold for $2 billion - the clippers. Woody has little to do with the jets value increase.

Sperm Edwards
The Wilshire 5000 / SP 500 has done about the same. Market tripled since 2009 lows. Yep, and even that low multiple is only because there was that crash right afterward. But Johnson's buying of the Jets <4 months before the first crash began, or a year-plus before a 40% correction, was due to the franchise circumstance (Leon Hess dying when he did) rather than shrewd/savvy timing on the buyer's part. If he was so freaking smart he'd have bought Apple (and a couple of choice other equities) instead of the Jets back then. An index fund is fine, but it's what people buy when they don't know what to buy and all they know is they don't want to be on the sideline. Oh he cheated plenty with the Giants. If you count his fling with the secretary lol. http://nypost.com/2007/02/25/sugar-daddy-belichick/ ‘SUGAR DADDY’ BELICHICK By Susan Edelman February 25, 2007 | 10:00am New England Patriot coach Bill Belichick has been supporting his alleged mistress – a New Jersey housewife in the midst of a divorce – by sending her envelopes stuffed with cash and buying a secret $2.2 million Park Slope town house for her use, court papers allege. For the last 18 months, Belichick has mailed or wired about $3,000 a month in cash to Sharon Shenocca, she said. Belichick, she said, also paid for her $25,000 Jersey Shore summer rental in Lavallette and showered her with gifts, including a private jet to Disney World and a Fast Pass credit card to pay for gasoline. Last June, she said, Belichick bought the tony Brooklyn town house, which boasts stained-glass windows and parquet floors, on Sixth Street, less than a block from Prospect Park. Sharon, 41, revealed the cash, gifts and Brooklyn getaway in divorce depositions taken in November and January, admitting she had earlier fibbed in denying the football coach’s financial largesse. “I am sorry,” she testified. The confession prompted her and her estranged husband, Vincent Shenocca, to reach an agreement last week on the financial aspects of their divorce, lawyers said. And that means that Belichick may not have to testify under oath about the money he spent on her, a New Jersey judge said. But the Shenoccas continue a fierce battle over Sharon’s desire to move with their kids to Belichick’s Brooklyn town house – a move hotly contested by her husband. Sharon’s sister, singer Terry Radigan, and brother-in-law Ned Massey, a songwriter, have moved into the four-bedroom town house, which was purchased last June for $2,225,000 by B.R. Realty Trust, the deed shows. According to lawyers for Sharon’s estranged husband, the letters stand for Belichick and Radigan, Sharon’s maiden name. Belichick is separated from his wife of 28 years, Debby. Sharon has slept in the town house a number of times, she said in the deposition. She remains at the marital home in Morristown, N.J, with her kids. Vincent Shenocca, who owns a stucco business, contends his wife “has committed adultery with William Belichick at various times and places presently unknown.” He told relatives he intercepted FedEx deliveries to Sharon that held cash from the coach. Sharon, who met Belichick in the 1980s when she was a receptionist for the New York Giants and he was the team’s defensive coordinator, insisted he was just a “family friend.” But when questioned under oath by Vincent’s lawyers, she said Belichick started sending her about $3,000 a month in June 2005 after Vincent had yanked her credit card. Asked how long Belichick sent the money, she replied, “Well, it’s still going on.” She said she had no records to document the cash. Calling the money “borrowed,” Sharon said she used it on such expenses as a cleaning lady, earrings (at $796 and $531 a pair), sessions with a personal trainer, Giant tickets (which she used to pay for a leased Honda SUV) and vacations to a Utah spa, Florida, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, where she stayed at the InterContinental San Juan Resort, Spa and Casino. She said she made most of the trips with her sister but took her kids to Disney World in Florida. She also testified that she once asked the coach if she could borrow money from him to buy a house to put it in her sister’s name and quoted him as telling her, “Well, if you find something, we’ll talk about it.” Instead, she plans to move into the town house. She first said the “landlord” was B.R. Realty Trust. When asked who owned it, she replied, “Bill Belichick.” The rent “hasn’t been figured out yet,” she said. B.R. Realty Trust’s corporate address uses the same post-office box, town and ZIP code as Belichick’s mailing address in Foxboro, Mass. Belichick and his lawyer did not return calls for comment. Merely that if Johnson was such a savvy businessman he could do better than merely doubling his money in a decade and a half. He bought something high profile that was available at a certain time and his competition was publicly detested. He's the lucky sperm (though technically all of us are). If you really think Woody pushed for Tebow, I just don't know man. Tanny has gone on record multiple times saying it was a football move with the intention of putting Tebow in the wildcat package. Sparano was a ******* idiot that couldn't coach offense to save his life, but it's not like Tebow would have been a bad move if used correctly. Frankly, I don't think Woody really cares about the football operations of the Jets so long as they continue to make him money. All I ask for out of an owner is to a) not meddle and spend money when necessary. Woody seems to do both fairly well so there's not much more you can ask for or criticize him for. I would take Woody over the Wilpons or Dolan in a heartbeat.
