keysersoze
Is this a serious question? You've seriously never wondered why the guy gets so much attention? RSJ
Without deflated balls Gronk is the same player his 8 siblings are. He is Kyle Brady II. Problem was always holding onto the ball. Goes to Patriots and catches everything. Another deflategate miracle.

There is always a story in the guy in their feed. He's really good at football, he plays for a successful franchise, and he spends his time doing weird/dumb/hilarious sh*t. SenorGato
Gronkowski is the man. If he retired right this second I'd still think he's put together HOF climber career.

JetsFanInDenver
The NFL and the New England based media like ESPN want's to love something about the Pats but they are running out of options. Brady the guy who was labeled Mr Perfect suddenly does not seem perfect and in under a HUGE cloud because of Deflategate. Goodell/Kraft are doing there best to get him out of that huge cloud with a 6-8 game suspension. Belichick has had very. very few endearing qualities about him. His dour behavior does not make it easy to fall in love with. Top of that despite being the guy who is a micro manager and in control of everything under the Patriot's roof and the guy who should be punished to the max for Deflategate, the duo of Goodell/Kraft are trying their best to quietly whisk BB away from being punished for cheating a second time. So he cannot be the center of attention by any means. And it's very difficult to fall in love with a d-bag billionaire who was banging a chick his grandkid's age while his wife lay on her death bed. So the final option is Gronk. So even though he is part of this cheating douchebag scum team and benefited by balls being deflated and is using charities for kids as cover from answering serious questions about Deflategate he is the one left for the media to implicitly and explicitly push on to fans and indoctrinate them into believing how lovable he is and by extension have some positive vibes about a marquee tainted brand that is the New England Patriots. Miss Lonelyhearts
And for the record I don't even read the stories Learn to read before commenting maybe? He's one of the two best football players on the planet, he plays with total disregard for the fact that the state his spine is in puts him at a significantly elevated risk of catastrophic injury, and he acts like a goofy seven-year old whenever he's not playing football or boning a porn star. Gronkowski seems like a pretty good barometer for whether one has taken the Patriots hating thing into foil hat territory.
