Il Mostro 2,313
Unbelievable game. Unbelievable series. Moore was amazing in OT, giving them chances to run one play after another on the face offs. They are giving me heart failure.
T0mShane 141,943
First hockey game I watched this year. Seemed to suck outside of Lundquist standing up to those late flurries.
32EBoozer 6,846
Man, tough not to have a let down in game 1 of the ECF... thank heavens its at MSG! Those fans were unreal tonight. All will be absolutely worthless at work tomorrow!! LOL. Rangers and MSG ROCK!!! (Except Dolan of course!)
NYJetsVets91 340
What a series... Coming back after being down 3-1 two years in a row in round 2, it's destiny. Really though, what a series. On the edge of my seat the entire series. Tampa Bay should be a good match up as well.
32EBoozer 6,846
Nice to be able to focus on something other than the CHEATERS! for a few hours!! Maybe the Rangers can get us to OTA's? Will help pass these arduous weeks waiting for football!
RoadFan 5,819
Great winAdmittedly, I am a bandwagon jumping Rangers fan. I watched this series in full and part of the Penguins series. Two notes. Keith Yandle is beyond horrible. He is a liability that is a scare to turn the puck over in the defensive zone every time he touches it. Worst player on the ice by a mile. Dangerous. Second... way too many wrist shots from the blue line. They are gathered by a goaltender too easily. The game winner was because Girardi whacked a one timer resulting in a rebound. Hit it!!! More slapshots needed!
Powpow 877
Stepan!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stepan!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stepan!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But yes, agreed. Not to mention John Moore isn't that bad and they threw him there in the trade.
AFJF 43,611
First hockey game I watched this year. Seemed to suck outside of Lundquist standing up to those late flurries. Opening minute of overtime was friggin crazy...just kept thinking "clear the effin' thing....get it out of the zone"....first game I've watched from start to finish in over a decade...losing touch w/ hockey was a big downside to leaving NY after HS. Yeah... I have replaced hockey with college football as here in NC its not so big but with TV, satellite etc.. its so much easier now. GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!

I was a HS kid working in a supermarket to pay my bills that year. I had that game on the radio while I was working the register and when Matteau scored that goal I started running around the front of the store screaming....with customers in my line just starting at me...obviously one group of very unimpressed non-hockey fans. Yeah, I was a lucky Ranger fan...they'd waited all those years and I started following it when Bernie Nicholls was a big deal and then really got in to it a few years later in 8th or 9th grade. They won it three or four years later...In all followed it for about 5-6 years. The early action in OT last night reminded me of how great it is. I still say the most underrated name in sports was Per Djoos (prounounced Pear Juice)

The line is actually "And the Rangers have one more hill to climb, baby! But it's Mount Vancouver!"

They are giving me heart failure. That is the thing about playoff hockey. You never have a second to breathe. If you look away from the screen you miss a goal. I like this team. Jets should have this much character.
