I tried the SK angle as self preservation. We have NK, 1-time vest, partial RB. The RB worked on Nolder last night, plus we shot him. I've been RB'ed, so I know there is a faction with that ability. Pac is a lock for scum, his partner I'm unsure. Jc is distancing from him most. CTM forced this into a stalemate when my logic and arguments were clearly better. I'd guess one of them. I could have been RB'ed, we only had 1 death that night. I'd rather not give up that information for now. It could send us down another stupid rabbit hole. Smash and I both came to the conclusion that I was RB'ed, basically we had a little bit of clarification needed around if I was RB'ed would my vest still work. Anyway, it took us a while to figure out the setup. At first we thought you were scum with Pac, since you told the game you could shoot, but haven't produced a death. We've know Pac wasn't town from N1 on. We were working under the assumption that he is a third party, but as things unfolded that proved unlikely because of 1.) the size of our team, and 2.) actions we're seeing in the game making it clear that there's another scum team that are built the same as ours. Anyway, that's what I've got. I've reached the point of not caring all that much. I was trying to make the SK play and getting all fancy because I like to come up with ballsy things to see if I can make it work. I like how, when you need complexity in your corner, you go so far as to "imagine what you'd do as mod" and cite examples of game setups you've used, which are completely irrelevant to this game, to try and reinforce your argument. However, when the complexity of a setup is something you need to run away from to maintain an advantage, you like to simplify it to base level thinking. All I've been trying to do, is set it up so that tonight, we'll go into night phase with 3 townies, 1 scum from my team, 1 scum from your team, and hopefully after the bullets fly I come out on the other side with a chance. Smash and I are at a clear disadvantage, because of how the game unfolded, but I've worked my ass off to outlast a cop result on me, and to outlast what could have been a speedlynch on me... at this point, it's about not finishing last. I suppose though, for convenience, that we're going to not count the level of commitment I put behind trying to get him lynched last week.
