So, I guess you accept their explanation that the equipment guy referring to himself as the deflator was a reference to weight loss?
JustInFudge
Anyone seeing some of these emails they're finding? Jet Fan RI
I believe he lied, I believe he had balls slightly underinflated but the Wells report did little to prove any of it. So you don't believe the claims in the Wells report that he refused to provide transcripts of the relevant texts? This is obstruction. As for proving the balls were deflated by other-than natural means, that was proven effectively by the work done by Exponent, which was included in the Wells report. Jet Fan RI
how was that proven when they didn't test the balls from any other games? read the testimony that was released yesterday. there's a ton of interesting info in there. It was proven both by analyzing the measurements made by the officials at halftime, as well as extensive experiments designed to simulate game conditions. The simulations well proved that the measurements made by the officials fell outside the realm that results obtained for the Pat balls occurred due to natural processes, at least to the degree required by NFL rules. That is, it was "more likely than not." that non-natural causes produced the pressures seen in the Pat balls. But the readings for the Colt balls did fall within the realm of being physically possible.
Hitman Harris
Somebody should put together a top 10 list of their most ridicilous arguments since the investigation started Starting with Brady's "This ain't ISIS, nobody is dying", to their explanation of the term "The Deflator", which meant this Jastremski guy or whoever trying to lose weight. Don't know if a top 10 is enough there. Maybe could expand it to a top 50. And then his whore of a wife goes hiding out in a burka to conceal her boob job. Real classy. These people need to be skewered on the real facts here. Delusion is Strong in Boston.

RutgersJetFan
Am I the only one relishing the irony that while part of Brady's argument is that the NFL wanting to see his text messages is a violation of his privacy only to have the judge order all this info released including Brady's personal emails? http://deadspin.com/highlights-of-tom-bradys-personal-emails-revealed-in-n-1722160002 Doesn't the fact that he willingly handed over all these emails kind of kill his violation of privacy argument? More importantly, is that how adults really write emails?

nyjunc
https://sports.yahoo.com/news/roger-goodell-s-manipulation-of-tom-brady-s-testimony-leaves-nfl-on-slippery-slope-214409591-nfl.html By late Monday morning the NFL had wrongly told the Patriots that their footballs were deflated as low as 10.1 psi – which put the organization on its heels because it was such a significant reduction. Hearing such data from the league office would certainly cause Brady and Jastremski to revisit the situation. Let's say Jastremski said early Monday morning he didn't do it, doubted anyone did and couldn't even believe this occurred – something both Brady and Jastremski said occurred. Then the NFL put out the false 10.1 psi number. Of course Brady would call back and say, "Well, this is what the NFL found, something must have happened. What's the story?" Then later, ESPN, citing league sources, reported that 11 of the 12 Patriots footballs were two pounds or more below the league standard. It was also completely wrong but no one in New England knew that at the time so this looked terrible

drdetroit
CBS just released transcripts from the appeal and Brady denies even knowing who Jim McNally is. A 10+ year locker room attendant. Jet Fan RI
The lowest measured pressure for the Pat balls was actually 10.5 psi. Not exactly egregiously wrong when compared with 10.1 psi, and the latter value could possibly even be a typo.

Jet Fan RI
that was the incorrect info that was reported early on. Not sure what info you are referencing. The only place I saw the 10.1 psi value is from your quote earlier in this thread. The 10.5 psi value is listed both in the Wells report and the Exponent report and is not in question, That was in fact the lowest Pat measurement as made by the officials. My point is that 10.5 psi, which is a full 2 psi below the minimum pressure permitted by the rules, is not that much different from the erroneous 10.1 psi value. Either value looks pretty much equally bad for the Pats,
