jeaniec
Jeanie. Your team is doomed. Lonleyhearts, you have a right to your opinion. However, we can agree to disagree on this one. The long and short of it is that our 9-7 team in 2014 has greatly improved. When looking at our QB situation, we can't overlook Greg Roman's playbook. I was disappointed after last night's scrimmage. It's a new day and time to move forward.

jeaniec
I'd be totally shocked if he does. And if somehow he does start I think it says your QB situation is much worse than anyone believed coming into the season. IDK JetNut. jeaniec
How is your team improved when your QB situation is so much worse? Our QB is not much worse. We don't have a seasoned QB but we have Roman's playbook and a strong offense. Stay tuned

jeaniec
It's just the way it is, but you're a fan so you don't want to see it. Look at us, we hired a sr citizen to run our offense who this time last year was taking afternoon naps, driving with his left hand blinker on and going to bed at 7:30pm. But as a fan base have deluded ourselves into believing he's some kind of offensive savant, his qb's have been in the top 1/2 of the league in yardage 1/2 the time. You are right CTM, we don't want , and most of all , can't see it. Especially when we look at how we built upon (new players) our 2014 9-7 team. Take a look http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2015/08/tyrod_taylor_gains_momentum_heading_into_scrimmage_6_observations_from_day_7_of.html Why would I want to look at what he's doing in practice. Theres a reason he went where he went in the draft and a reason why he has done nothing anywhere since. If somehow he gets the starting job its because Cassel fell on his face and sh1t the bed and Manuel is still Manuel

drdetroit
Not so much anymore from what I understand. We'll wait and see Cassel is a mediocre game manager. The Jet and Dolphin defenses will crush him. Bills only hope is EJ pulls his head out of his ass.

jeaniec
Especially because of Incognito. Well our coaches are thrilled with Incognito's progress. The word is that he is "20 yards" ahead right now. And Rookie, John Miller is no slouch either. It appears that he will be starting this year. Your coaches, Rexs coaches, will over sell every player from pro bowlers to bottom of the heap players as the next great thing. They've got you excited about marginal players all over the roster. Its what Rex does. He lies about his team, his roster, his abilities. I like Rex, even I would say shut the F up Rex

Jet Nut
In all fairness, Rex has been very upfront (and I believe honest) in all of his post practice interviews. We've heard about the bad plays/players as well as the good. Rex is never up front and truthful when he sells his players to fans who drool waiting to hear his glowing reports. Which player or players has he said said havent't played well or has to step it up? Who hasn't played well and will be a force? Not saying its wrong or doesn't help the psyche of the player he's trying to pump up. Just saying don't rely on what Rex told you is going on to what actually is going on
freestater
Cassel has to be the QB. Tyrod Taylor is not going to happen. Maybe for widcat formations etc., for which we all know Rex has an affintiny. I don't know why Bills fans are excited about Greg Roman. What has the guy done? Ride Harbaugh's coattails? Is anyone even positive he can call a decent game? The only real fit he has with Rex, is his propensity to go run heavy. From what they have on paper, the Bills are going to be way too 1-dimentional on offense to a playoff threat. If they can't manage a serious ball-control advantage in games, they'll have trouble averaging 14pts/ game. With any of the options they have at QB, I think they're in for a terrible turnover ratio, and the type of team that Rex likes will not be able to overcome multiple-turnover games. I give Buff till about mid-November before they realize all the offseason hype was just that. Hype.

Faith in life is good Which QBs has Roman built? More to the point name the QBs who sucked and Roman turned their careers around? Thats his job in Buffalo. Rebuild trash No one with the Panthers, he did wonders for Carr in Houston, same with Boller in Balt., Kaep is undetermined right now, not looking that good after their last year together,
Beerfish
Greg Roman will be the most hated man in the Bills org by the end of the year. This was the absolute perfect landing spot for Rex because it is identical to what he had with the Jets when he started. Just like with the Jets the defense is stacked with talent and will look good. Just like the Jets the O has no QB and some other holes (oline). When the Bills start losing because of the offense (an inconvenient part of any team from one of the Ryan blood line point of view) the oc will be roasted. As will the next guy when he comes in, as will the next guy when he comes in. The ocs will be given zero credit and all of the blame. It's nice you and perhaps other bills fans like roman now Jeanie because it will not last, 100% guaranteed.
