He wasn't in the dark, he knew Favre never wanted to be here and that he wanted to go to Minnesota to stick it to GB. It was a 1 year deal and the hope was they could convince him to stay for another year or 2 but they couldn't. Favre never wanted to be here and played like it, he wanted to be in Minny and played like it. Peyton nerver would have come to NY with baby bro there and you know that.. Peyton never would have come here b/c a) we didn't have enough money for him and we didn't have enough talent for him. if we had both he would have come here whether Eli was in the same town or not.
